The Ultimate "Driving Test" Thread!

I don't take it for granted at all because I know how lucky I am to have some family who do want to help me.
I sent my Aunt a Thank You card today as a little gesture so she know's just how much it means to me that I had her help and support. It's great that she spent that money because she believed in me.

Hows your driving coming along ladies? Do you find it a lot more easier now you're out there on your own or is it a bit daunting? xx

Hope your ok hun, sometimes those closest to us say the silliest things.

My drivings been ok, I did my first forest night time trip today, was 50mins each way and was so scared lol. 2 deers ran out last min, almost had panic attack but kept singing lol. Saw a random man pulled over and he tail gated me, thought he was gonna knock me off but he was probably innocent!

Thats nice it is probably a bit of jealousy, i kinda resent the college girls coz it feels like i have to work at everything while they just get everything given on a plate i'm a bad person

And i just got insured on alans car so going out in that for the first time tomorrow...cost 60 odd pound!! haha kinda nervous about going out with alan in the manual seeing as ive kinda gotten use to automatic driving mums (even though ive only driven it 2 times) haha how are you finding it? x

The new forest is scary driving at night, deer/horses/cattle/pigs etc most with no collars on, free roaming on all the roads in pitch black!

I guess it does seem like I'm being handed it all on a plate, however, now I've got my licence, I'm on my own with funding the insurance, no one is going to help me with that, nor do I expect them too either. So I think that set's me apart from the college girls hehe!

I think my biggest fear and this is going to sound completely stupid, is I'll be driving along at night and just like in the horror movies, a ghost will appear suddenly in the middle of the road! That scares me most about night time driving and it's completely dumb!

I think this is the funniest thing i've heard! But I have this fear too i watch supernatural which in one episode theres a ghost that is on the road and even on night lessons i'de freak especially on country roads with the mist and how the light touches the dark makes it look like a scene from the horror films

I have done 660 miles in my car since 23rd December, thought I would share lol.

Had 2 mock tests today, failed the first one with 8 minors and 2 serious faults.
1st one was lorry parked on the side of the road and I left my decision making too late which made the traffic behind me all confused too.
Second was putting handbrake on too soon.
2nd mock I passed with just 2 minors they were for being a bit too slow in 3rd gear.
Feel a bit more confident now but really need to work on my bay parking and reverse around a corner on monday before my test!
Can't believe it's only 3 days away! Bleurgh... Feel sick!!

Sounds like you're doing well Candeur. Don't be disheartened by the mocks, I'm sure you'll be fantastic on your test day!

How do you feel having had lots of practice? Do you feel like you're improving and gaining confidence?

660 miles??? Wow, that's like a trip to Scotland and back lol! I've gone...0 miles

Or a ghost appear on the back seat and you see it in your rearview mirror!!! This is my fear lol...total anxiety-freak at night!!!

Good luck hun! But dont set yourself dates to pass by, thats where I went wrong haha, my first loads of lessons i was thinking, oh i will be pass by then and didn't put as much effort in as i would have if i was just trying to pass asap Don't let failing get you down! I passed 4th time and i dont even care now i've passed whereas at the time i was like "it's the end of the world"
