Don't let it get you down. I'm 4 months and showing, to me mine just looks like flab though (on some days). The ladies at my work always make comments to me and I am really self conscious about getting bigger. They are heavier women who always complain about everything and have their nose all up in my business. They even stare at me when I eat my lunch (WTF??) Stupid people have to make others feel low so they can make themselves feel better. Don't let them get you down, you have a life and they don't cause if they did, they wouldn't be so worried about what you look like and how your belly is growing. Keep your chin up girly, you have a baby in there growing, be proud.

Why is it that people think they can say stuff to pregnant women!???? It drives me mad! Even my dr. (whom I love) when I went in on Monday said, "wow, the baby already weighs 8 lbs., huh??" WHAt??? Aren't I supposed to be gaining weight? I'm not gaining it anywhere but my belly! And 8 lbs. for more than half way through isn't so bad!

I already started showing at 2months. Everyone is different. Some show early,some show later. Some have big bumps,some small. Every human being is different and your colleagues should be more sensitive with their opinions. Be proud of your bump because that means you have a baby that is growing strong!

I suppose that because this the first i've had I kind of worry i might be doing something wrong?! Daft I know. And I know I'm being silly...and I also know that the last time I saw the doc he said my weight gain was perfct..

I think people go by how big/small they were when pregnant and compare. I have had to buy maternity clothes and have a definate bump, not just looking fat anymore, but i was quite small to start with, size 8/10 (UK) and am now buying size 12 maternity to fit the bump.

I went to see my friend this weekend and she was like "your not very big are you" , i think its because she was huge at my stage. and yet some people are like "aw look at your baby bump" and saying i'm massive!!! Can't win! i wouldn't worry about it! Everyones different

I am barley four months right now and just starting to show. So far only people who know me notice but I am already dreading all the stupid comments. I think you have every right to snap a little at people when they say crap like that, in fact if you do then they are probabley likley to think before they do it again! I don't know why people think they can just come up to a pregnant women and say ******ed things and we are supposed to just take it because we're 'emotional', some things are just rude! You would not come up to a fat person and comment on their size or someone with a skin disorder and say 'wow you look worse than usual today', I say put them in their place; you deserve kindness right now! make them feel as awkward as they make you! Stay Fierce!
