Think I need a mummy-to-be pamper day!

At 20 weeks OH treated me to getting a pedicure and I loved it. I could sit alllll day and let anyone play/massage my feet!

I really enjoyed it and it was only last week I need OH to cut my toes after the treatment. I can't even get to my toes now peanuts in the way and it's bum in always ramming my bellybutton..

I'm thinking I want some TLC before peanuts here again. I'm due in December so most my body will be covered up so not bothered about my legs getting as hairy as OHs (it's easyish to still shave whilst I'm in the bath!) and my toes I'll be wearing socks or tights for months to come so they can be a manky as they like!

Just wondering if anyone has had a mum-to-be pamper day which are like £90-100 for a few massages, spa facilities and lunch??

Or do I go to my local beauty salon and see what they can offer me?

I'm greatful at the moment when I ask OH for a massage on my lower back and hips due to my sciatica he gives me one and I can be in random positions fully naked in my own home & OH gets pleasure out of it too !

I concur... hehe. I've had pedis throughout my pregnancy, I'm due for another one again... SOON!!! I also go to my chiropractor weekly and that includes a 50min massage! It's sometimes the highlight of my week lol. My hubby is great about rubbing my feet when needed or hips etc... but something to be said for getting an all over body massage. Plus, I think that is the ONLY thing that has really helped to keep my aches and pains in check... and they still bother me often enough! I would be a wreck without them!

Not sure I would spend too much for it though (least I wouldn't go as often)- the pedis are only $25... and I only get them maybe once a month, if that. And our insurance covers our chiro/massage appt... otherwise that wouldn't be happening!

Sometimes we just need that pamper day though So go for it!!!!

I've booked a pamper session at my salon for £60 - facial, pedicure, manicure, massage and some skin treatment. Sounds lush, can't wait : D

Mmmm That sounds lovely. I just had a pedi last week. Hubby came home and said, pick somewhere I'm taking you now. LOL it was a bit funny as two weeks ago he had to start tying to tennis shoes for me if I decide to wear those instead of my flip flops or slip-ons. Baby belly is just to much in the way now.

I'd love to go get a facial and mani/pedi maybe even a wash and little trim of the split ends just before LO comes. After that who knows when I'll make it to the salon again. As it is I've never been one to go regularly so it would be quite the treat.

I'd say go for it! Indulge while you can!

omg im sooooo excited you have wrote this post only because i want to share my experience i had last week with my mother. We went to a spa and for £110pp we spent the whole day using the facilities and the spa. Obviously you cannot use the steam room or the jacuzzi (however i did sit with my feet in it) but spent 3 hours swimming. Lunch was included in the price so after that we went to our spa treatments. 3 in total. However.... due to being so heavily pregnant, the all over body massage was not granted due to having to lie on my stomach so instead i took up the luxury pedicure which lasted a whole hour and was sinfully THE BEST thing i have ever experienced. As well as that i had a luxury facial and shoulder massages. I have since booked in JUST for the pedicure in a weeks time just before baby is due...
I would highly recommend finding somewhere that can either offer a package for you for the price you quoted or just to go and get some treatments... I promise you you will come away sooooo relaxed

I went to the new spa at ribby hall this week. It was amazing. Had a package called mind the bump at £50 for hour and half. I'm going again next week too and every week until baby is here. (for the baby of course!) x
