Thinking about moving to England...help!

Same here, I used to live in Canada and would take it over the UK any day. We are hoping to move back in a few years.

I'm just curious can i ask why you want to move here?

My husband and I would really like to experience different countries and cities before we settle down to have children. He has been to England before, when he was younger, and always wanted to go back.
This would not be a permanent move, probably just for a few years.

Dont get me wrong there are some beautiful parts of the country - wasnt referring to the actual countryside, etc - it is more what is happening ...ie, taxes, crime, chavs taking over everywhere - it is only my opinion though x

I have to agree, the U.K. is going downhill and fast.

I made the mistake of moving over to Wales about 7 years ago thinking that would be a nice place to be.
Now all I can think about is how soon I can get back to Australia with my little one.
Teenagers "Hoodies" over here have no respect for people or property, and the parents seem no better.

Same as any country, it depends which part of it you live in.
