thinking of leaving my husband ,any ideas what I am entitled to?please help

hi there
I am currently seriously thinking of leaving my husband, we have been married for 8 years but he is in the forces and I have had enough of being on my own 75% of the time, also I just dont think the feelings i have for him are there any more
i gave up my career to be a full time mother to our son, so i have lost any pensions and have no financial security
does anyone know what I would be entitled too? the mortgage on the house I would no way be able to afford so can I get income support, what happens if we sell do I have to live off that?

If you sell it and end up with more than £16,000 in savings then you wont be able to claim anything.

I am not sure what else to suggest as i am all new to this too

blimey! thats so awful, you pay taxes all your life and when you need some support you cant get it
dreading it but it has to be better than how i feel now
