Thoughts on the boy's name 'Cole'?

We just came across the name Cole and I think it's a strong front-runner! Just wondering people's thoughts

Thanks guys! We love it too! The only thing really holding us back is our daughter's name is Ember. So to hear it, it would be Ember and Cole (which we think sounds lovely), but it sounds very obviously like two "fire" names. Does that make sense?? Is it a problem?

I think because Ember means glowing coal I would be a bit reluctant to use both, but I do think Cole is quite a nice name.

It's quite a trendy name right now and easy to spell and pronounce so from that point of view it would work well for him. I'm not sure I could get past the whole cole, ember thing though. Just my personal opinion.
