Thread killer........

Hellooooooo threadkillerland!!!!

Where the devil is everyone????

:xmas3: Hiya!! I've not really been on BnB for a few days except on my phone a little bit but don't worry all will be going back to normal I'm back

Fran's new words are "yeah" and "yay" - Saturday she spent 10 mins solid repeating "yay" over and over again as we were walking round a little shop at the local marina

yay, yay, yay, yay, yay, yay, yay, yay, yay, yay, yay, yay, yay, yay :haha:

She also claps when I ask her too, has started waving and dances when there is music with a good beat on the tv or radio - it's so cute when her little bum bops up and down!!!!

The thought of that is almosts TOO cute! :cloud9: Well done Fran! x

Aww well done Fran!

Ella has started high pitched shrieking again

Hellooooooo

Been off bnB a bit but back to normal now

All good here but mad busy, juat back from Zumba and started back running again so doing that at my parents in the evenings when Danny is in bed, feel like I'm literally chasing my tail but am loving it. Ordered a treadmill which should be here next week so that should make life easier. And one dress size down which is great incentive :happydance:

Had a lovely girly night out on Saturday, funniest part was when a young whippersnapper tried to chat me up and recoiled in horror when I told him I was 31  Gary thought it was vay funny

I love my princess soooo much! Had some photo christmas cards made using a pic she had taken during a photoshoot for the local baby competition - it's absolutely adorable with her in a little mrs santa dress and hat :)

I've also started planning her birthday party!! Her cake is on order and I'm just awaiting confirmation of the venue booking then I can get her invites printed - oh and I'm having a dress made especially for her to wear by the same lady who has made her dress for Christmas day. For those of you who haven't seen it on fb (little char lol) here is a pic (or 3 lol) :happydance:

Welcome back Lou and Lil - I've really missed you, and of course you too little char!!!!

Aw Anna Fran is such a little cutester, love her wee outfit :happydance:

BC was literally doing my head in but I'm over it now and ready for serious BnB'ing

 Okay!

Well today not much interesting. Last night was her first night not STTN. Every 2hrs for feeds, but I don't mind because she needs to start putting more weight on or I might be forced to top up with formula, which I have nothing against for other mums, but I would just feel like a failure. She put on 30 grams in a few days though which is great, at least she has stopped dropping! So long night last night. OH watched her for a few hours this morning, I gave him a bottle of ebm so if she woke up I wouldn't have to straight away, and got to catch up on my missed sleep. She was on the boob for about 2hrs at one stage today, but I don't mind, I can multitask :haha:

She hates being fully wrapped, always has to have her arms out. I was a little worried about that startle thing people kept warning me about but she hasn't had it, though neither did I as a baby. If she could she'd get her legs out too!

She still rolls from her belly to back every time she has tummy time. People kept saying she'd stop doing it in a few days, but she has been doing it since day 5 so I doubt she is going to stop now and occasionally she gets from her back to her side as well

We have her using a dummy and also as I mentioned occasionally a bottle of ebm, we've had no problems with nipple confusion or anything, she had her first bottle at 2 days old and hasn't had a problem. I am so lucky to have such an easy going baby. I just hope everything with her kidneys is alright. We have a followup ultrasound this Monday coming to make sure it is all good and to check she doesn't have urinary reflux. She is peeing and pooping well though, so I'm pretty sure most of it has sorted itself out. She is such a little darling and it still hasn't totally sunk in that she is ours.

So that's my update :happydance:

Hun as long as you are feeding your baby - be it breast or formula - you are never a failure. Giving formula to top up breastmilk because your baby isn't putting weight on quickly enough is not a decision you make lightly but don't feel guilty for doing what is best - a healthy, happy baby is the most important thing.

Yes breast is best but they way it's forced on you at every opportunity during pregnancy sets women up to feel like failures if they can't bf, need to combi-feed or have to swap to formula for whatever reason - and that's not right at all. There should be more information available to help women cope if they are struggling and provide support rather than making you feel like a bad mum.

Ok that's my little rant over - it's something that really annoys me about the way they push breastfeeding!

I hope everything goes well at the hospital - please let us know how you get on xxxx

Oh and Fran is 10 months old and it still hasn't sunk in she is mine - I keep thinking I'm going to wake up from a dream lol.

:hi: Leopard

Speaking of breastfeeding I got bitten for the first time omg OUCH! I was not impressed in the slightest

LO made her first Christmas decoration yesterday, it's so cute have got it on the tree and it actually fits in really well with the other decorations :)
