Hope LO is getting over the chicken pox at this stage Lil, it sounds like she had a rough time of it. Danny had it a few months back and was completely covered, he looked like he'd never get rid of the spots but they didn't seem to bother him too much and thankfully they learedp quickly

It feels like ages since I've been on, I was on holidays for a few weeks and took advantage of having my squishy son all day every day. I'm back at work tomorrow and dreading it

Took LO for her 2 year review and she was shy to start with so wasn't talking, there was me going on about how she talks in full sentences now and how clear her speech is, she finally gets brave enough to start talking...baby babble . The HV must have thought I was making it up because she went back to the speech page on her form. I had also said how LO is always asking 'Why' and she said that's a 3+ thing so she probably thought that was a lie as well I was so embarrassed lol.
Of course we get out of the door and LO is straight away talking none stop lol. Other than that though she's hitting all her milestones and she's on the 50th centile line for weight and 75th for height

She has stepped up the terrible twos though, I feel like all I do now is tell her off. I've been invited out to meet two old school friends I haven't seen for years and their little babies but I don't know if I want to go because I know LO will make a scene.

My DD has got her two year check on Monday. She is doing really well too...and I thought it'd be my luck that she won't say a word and just sit there

I think it would have been better if LO had stayed quiet at her review tbh

She put one of the Beethoven films on earlier and when it got to a bit where two people fall into a muddy swamp or something she got soo upset. Anyway she got over it and went to bed and 40 minutes later she woke up devastated over it still. I guess we should stick to cbeebies for now lol.
She's got her first ballet class on Tuesday I'm so excited about it so she better like it so I can get her the ballet clothes

Hello lovely people! How is everyone? I'm sad that this thread has gone very quiet again recently, I miss how busy and chatty it used to be!

Fran has started putting 2 or 3 words together - she says "hello, you alright?" quite a bit which is uber cute! Then the other day we were at a park with a big lake and she was chasing ducks around. She shouted "No! Stop ducks" when they ran away from her lol.

She's also started jumping! It was so funny when she first started trying because she was bobbing up and down but couldn't lift her feet off the floor. She can just about manage it now but not every attempt.

So that's a bit of an update from me!
