... the vest?? i always thought they went over till i saw another baby with tights under the vest...

What way do you do it ?

The seam and waistband of tights would be really scratchy round their waist otherwise.

I usually do over the vest cos I don't like the waistband digging in. If the tights keep falling down, I sometimes put them under but only if they're not too tight around her waist.

I knew a girl at primary school who used to wear her tights under her knickers cos her knickers helped keep the tights up

Saying that..I put baby tights under the vest..my lo isnt very big and quite the skinny minnie so the waistband doesnt dig in, I mean it IS over the nappy so its not bad is it?
imo its cos its winter and tights are not a very 'manly' thing so they are really to keep his legs warm or to look like socks that stay on

I thought everyone would say under... when i noticed this baby with it under, i did the same with Alyssa and as celine said its over the nappy... to me it looked neater my OH then larfed at me and i thought what does he know bout tights lol!!

Over, we wear tights mosts days, it saves on lost socks.

When ive got Dom in his sling I normally put tights on under his trousers to keep his legs warm But I put them on over his vest x
