Time to say ta ta

I've decided my time expressing is up. I managed 4 months and I am sooo proud of myself for that, but I just can't do it any longer.

I have pnd and am on meds now and I need to try and get myself better for both my sakes and for my LO.

I've been pumping less and less for the past 2 weeks and my milk has nearly gone now. Alfie has taken well to formula, thank goodness.

I don't like that fact that he is not having my milk anymore, but I feel I tried really hard to give him the best start I could.

I really hope to be back in this section with my second LO.

Well done you! You have done so well and you really should be proud of yourself.

I've been exclusively expressing for one month and three days, and I also have PND. I struggle some days, and knowing that someone in similar circumstances got to four months is a real inspiration for me. Thank you for sharing.

You've done so so well making it this far, you went further than most! I only managed to express for 2 weeks, then like you I was put on meds and stopped. Well done you for doing it 4 months, now you can relax and not have to worry about your boobs inflating to painful proportions if your away from LO for too long!
