Tired of being defined as a mother

Its never bothered me, maybe as i am more interested in talking about lo and lo who im pregnant with. I love been defined as a mum. I never wanted to be centre of attention before i had lo anyway. My friends find it amazing that i am not bothered by speaking to other adults or going out lol, i worked with children before had lo anyway so used to being with children anyway haha and i am a home body, people laugh as im quite feminist but am a sahm, i see feminism as being about choice. I wouldent want to take lime light off lo though

For me I love talking about my children and I love that people care. I take pride in the fact that I am their mother and love being one but I do often feel like people no longer ask how I am. It's not about being attention seeking or not cherishing the fact that you are a mother it's about wanting to have relationships with people and know they care.
