Hi ladies,

I'm a bit worried about this after Googling it (I know, I know)

In the shower this morning a found 3 black, hard spots on the inside of my outer labia. They don't hurt. I've never heard of or seen anything like these before.

My daughter is 7 weeks old and was delivered by c-section. I bled for 4.5 weeks, had a break of a couple of days before AF started. I then started the pill which has caused AF to last ages, it's still here. So I'm wondering could they be related to bleeding for a long time? Has anyone experienced this?

I googled it and found melanoma on the labia, it sounded like what I found, so I made an appointment with GP but can't get appointment for over 2 weeks.

Anyone experienced this or heard of it?

Thanks ladies :flower:

Did you labour before you had c-section?

I had 1 very similar to what you described and also panicked myself about melanoma but it turned out to be where I'd popped a blood vessel during pushing and it had formed a really hard round totally black blood clot under the skin on the inside of my majora. I found mine a little earlier than you though maybe 2w pp and it was still there at 6w pp but gone by around 8-10w.

Hope it's the same for you as it had me very panicked for a while.

Thank you for replying.

No I had an elective c-section, so no labour. I wonder if hormones could cause a burst blood vessel or something? It's got to be pregnancy/post pregnancy related I think. I just wish I could think of what might've caused it.

Hopefully it'll be like yours and go away by themselves.

The pressure of the baby in the third trimester can cause varicose veins, so I'm sure it's possible to have little ones burst.

I had a burst blood vessel at 30 weeks. Also went to the doctors damn sure I was about to die. Apparently it's common. Always good to get checked though x

I have had this too, turned out I had nicked myself without realising whilst shaving down there, LOL.

Thanks for all the replies ladies, I feel a bit better now. I'm going to try and see a doctor today at the drop in surgery. I'll let you know what they say
