*TMI* Thick Discharge at 10 Weeks

I'm 10 weeks pregnant and for the past week I've been having some thick discharge. There is no smell or pain and the color ranges from dark yellow to light brown. I feel like I am going to start having to wear pads because it's getting kind of gross. Is this normal?

Hiya, I have been getting a similar thing but only when I wipe. Like a thick light yellow mucus.

I asked the midwife about this at my booking appointment as I was worried and she said it was quite normal and they it was caused by the pregnancy hormones that are being released.

Mine is only light yellow but I would think it was the same reason for you. However speak to your midwife if you are concerned.

I have this too!! Mine is a yellow/white colour and very thick! Like ive blown my nose!! (nice!) I wouldnt worry about it but speak to your midwife just in case. I will be mentioning mine when i see her next week!

If it's brown you should make an appointment with the doctor/midwife. I am sure it is nothing, but you should always have anything new checked.

It is normal to release more discharge at around 10 weeks plus. I started doing this at exactly 10 weeks also. It is called Leuccorhea..spelling is off a bit but spelt something like that. I also had some brown spotting/pale pink and went to the doctor because I was a little concerned with the colour. I had a scan and everything was fine but if the coloured discharge continues or you get alot more I would contact your doctor! xx

I noticed the same thing begining to happen a few days ago. Its only when I go to the bathroom and like an off white kinda color. My doc said it was normal and not to worry.
