To hyphen or not to hyphen??

Ive heard of first names being hyphenated and last names but not two middle names, i know an Avril-Jayne.

We chosse to have both our mums names in the middle of jennas was so much easier and nicer :)

I voted for no hypehen but why not just name her Poppy Linda or Poppy Jean (I love Poppy Jean) and save the name you do not use for your next girl? The problem with 2 middle names is... 1. You will have to name future children with 2 middle names to match and sometimes just one is hard to come up with 2. Some girls like to use their maiden name as a middle name when they get married rather than a hyphenated last name and that would give her 3 middle names

I just figure it is a big deal naming a baby... give it a thought maybe

the reason we want Lynda and also Jean is that we are both very very close to our mums and both wanted their names as a middle name. I quite liked the idea of mixing them up though... like Jenda or something as my middle name is Elma.. EL = Elizabether and MA = Maryanne (my 2 grandmothers) and we may not have another girl!

I voted no hyphen, with it there it makes me want to say Lynda-Jean as one word sort of!
