Thoughts please ladies? I have thought about the double Joovy stroller for DS3 and baby but I keep coming back to 'I can't be bothered' and it's a heck of a lot of boot space lost in my car by doing so. I only have a 93 Ford Laser so space is a precious thing and we are only in a small property at present. So I did my Amazon thing and found something similar called the BabyPeta wrap. Honestly, the Moby Wrap colors stink but the Peta is exactly the same idea. Who double buggyed, who Moby'd (or similar) and why? Due to a back injury I am not opting for a sling as it creates too much uneven pressure on my back due to not being able to distribute the weight of baby evenly across both shoulders. How was your choice to do what you did influenced?? Not too sure which way I am going to go yet but I am swaying more towards the wrap.

I've never heard of this brand before, but if the reviews check out (no one complaining about poor quality, stitching, etc.), then I would go for it. They look similar enough to a moby wrap (same style, fabric, etc).

We had a moby with our daughter and will use it again with this baby and seriously it was a lifesaver. The single best thing we bought. We did use a pushchair sometimes still so I would still want the option to do that, but I wouldn't personally go with the double. I would just use a single as needed for each of them. I liked the wrap because I could use it inside around the house too and that made life so much easier.

If you do have back problems, it's worth going to a sling meet and meeting with a peer supporter just to check the fit as you'll want to know it's adjusted to be as comas possible for you. But yes, looks good and I would get that if you're happy with it.

I had the Nature Sway sling and it was fitted properly. But because they distribute uneven weight, it caused more back issues than before so my doctor has recomended a front pack or something similar in the past.

Will keep the buggy - I have the Steelcraft Agile and I LOVE it so don't want to get a double unless I get the double version. But that's $600 and I think that money could be better utilized. The reviews on the BabyPeta are looking pretty good so I think that's the way to go and it means instead of DS3 wriggling around (we will use it for him instead because he won't sit quietly in the buggy) that again, it's easier on my back.

MindUtopia, you've made every valid reason yourself that I had going though my head. It's definitely helped with allowing me to make the right choice for myself, baby and partner. Thank you. :)

I LOVE MY MOBY WRAP. I have used it for all of my babies. My only negative piece of advice is that it's TOO HOT to wear baby in it when it's above about 76 degrees F. Baby gets sweaty, I get sweaty, nobody's happy. I have a Boba Air that I LOVE for when it's hot out. I also have a bad back, and I'm always pregnant, and the Boba Air does not hurt my back at all. I can also wear my baby ON my back with it (once they're sitting up independently), so I can switch it up nicely.

The Moby and Boba both place baby in optimal position for healthy hips and joints. :) I'd recommend both, or either. The Boba Air can be used from birth, but I like to use the Moby for as long as possible because I can breastfeed in it, and it keeps the baby snuggled RIGHT up against me.

I have a double stroller for use around our house. It's a jogging stroller and can be converted into a bike trailer and also a trailer to pull behind you while skiing, so for me the stroller is a necessity for doing those activities. However, I never take the stroller with me when I go shopping or out running errands with the car, I just used the ergo carrier for that kind of thing. I could not be bothered hauling a stroller in/out of the car, way easier to put baby in a carrier. My DD walks or rides in shopping carts mostly now, but I just got a Baby K'tan wrap so I can wear the newborn on my front and DD on my back in the Ergo if I need to carry both of them. Will also allow me to take them both hiking this summer.

So long story short, for me a carrier and a double stroller are both necessities depending on what we are doing.

I think the BabyPeta is breathable which is why I was looking at it. :)
