To wait or not to wait? 13dpo

I've been debating on going to the store for a test literally all day...

My fear, a false positive. I had the hcg shot on the 4th.
My official test date per my OB is the 25th.

100mg of Clomid 1/26-1/30
2mg of Estradiol 1/31-2/4
HcG shot 2/4 with 5 good follies
200mg Progesterone 2/7- current
Progesterone level collection 2/11... Levels were 54.8
AF due 22-25th

Possible symptoms: Fatigue, a couple mornings of nausea, a little lower back pain.
I am beyond stressed.

I don't know a lot about the trigger shots and stuff, but from what I've heard, you definitely should wait. You're likely to get a false positive and potentially get your hopes up for nothing. STAY STRONG!!! You can hang in there a couple more days!!!

Thanks! I'm really trying to be strong... This is our first month officially TTC. I knew it would be a little stressful, but I don't think I was prepared for this lol.

Oh, I'm a total POAS addict, but I'm not using any treatments that could mess with them. So, I can only imagine how stressful the TWW must be for you!! Keep us updated!!!

You should definitely wait, not sure how long the trigger shots stay in your system but that would be awful to have a false positive! I know it's hard to wait but I keep trying to convince myself that it'll be better if I wait to test, no guessing or trying to decide if there is a line or isn't. Too stressful

Thanks ladies! I'm trying my very best to wait.. I resisted the temptation yesterday But I know everyday is going to be the same thing... I would rather see a BFN, than a false BFP.

They say the trigger can stay in your system for up to 10 days.
Personally, I always test the trigger out of my system by POAS each day. Mine is 2500 ovidrel and tests out by 4-5 days. It depends on the units of ovidrel you took too..

The three times I have gotten a BFP, I started to get a faint positive 10DPO, solid positive by 12 DPO. I use internet cheap POAS so they are only 25 cents each or so... totally addicted.

I am 12DPO today btw...so we are in the 2ww together! Nerve-wracking as usual. I did get a BFP, but have a history of m/c so I am now just hoping it sticks...

Thanks ladies!!! It's amazing having women to talk to who know exactly what your feeling... Poor hubby tries to understand, I just randomly blurt out 'I NEED to pee on a stick ASAP", he offers to go to the store... then I say no... Poor thing lol I almost feel sorry for him. I almost feel like I am preggers... I started getting a headache yesterday morning.. and I have one now as I'm typing. I didn't realize it was a symptom in so many women until I found this forum.
Prego, Congrats, I hope it sticksss!! I will be praying. Thanks for your response, I really have no idea what my units were, didn't think to ask. I just know I got the shot. My nerves are beyond shot... It is literally all I can think about and all I want to talk about.

I took the trigger(6500) this cycle..it took 11 days for it to come out of my system. I tested my trigger until it was negative so anything positive after that negative I would know is the real thing. However 12 DPO and no BFP yet. I have had spotting since the day after the trigger left my system.

Native, I hope you get your BFP! Sending prayers and baby dust. I really wish I would have asked how many units my shot was. I haven't had any spotting, and the only symptom I had after my shot was abdominal pain, especially while BDing (sorry if TMI). It concerned me at first, so I done some intense research on it and it seems the pain was 100% normal. It only lasted 3 days, and on that third day, I was feeling fine and just sitting on the couch when I got a sharp shooting pain in my abdomen area.. So I'm assuming that's when I O'd.
I never thought to test it out of my system, my doctor made me promise not to test until the 25th lol, I promised.. and still holding strong at this point.

I've been staying so strong... while staying inside my house in my jammies staying out of the real world... But today I woke up and I'm having some breast pain... More like shooting pains, and just dull pains mostly in the left breast. I have to make a dollar store run, and I'm not so sure I can resist the temptation to buy. =\
Today is 15dpo surely the shot is out of my system?! Ugh. I dunno. Maybe it will make me feel better if I just had a couple laying around the house?? Or maybe it will be worse. This TWW is literally making me feel crazy.

I got my blood results today...BFN..its ok though..most of the fun is the trying part..lol..I go in tomorrow to my RE for the day 3 cycle monitoring..Good luck to you!
