I went to the shop today and there was a little girl about six months called lilac.
Opinions? I'm not too sure?

Im not keen on naming children after colours x

Ehh I don't really care for it, but I don't hate it either.

You know, it's totally different. But I kinda like it and I think it would really grow on me. Lilacs are beautiful and smell even better. There's nothing to dislike :)

I prefer it to generic names like Jenifer, Rachel, Laura, Lianne, Rebecca, Samantha etc...

are you considering it?

I like it! I thought of the flower rather than the colour 2bh. Rose, Lily, Violet, Ivy etc... are perfectly acceptable, why not Lilac?

I prefer Lilah to Lilac. The "c" at the end makes it sound a bit harsh.

It wouldn't be my choice of names but its very cute, like steph I prefer lilah it doesn't sound so harsh xx

Nope not considering it, I'm done at one child lol, it was just a name I had never heard before and wondered what other people thought of it,I prefer lilah to, it doesn't sound as harsh

I wouldn't use it but I don't see it as a weird choice for a name, flower names are pretty popular. I've known two Lilacs, a toddler and an old lady (a grandma and granddaughter) and the name suited both.
