Thanks everyone! We did see a heartbeat and baby was doing okay. There is a small hematoma which likely caused the bleeding a few weeks ago.

But, she did a Pap smear without my consent. I felt scraping and asked what that is and she said it is just a routine cancer screeing. She said I might spot a little but now I am bleeding more than just that. I was so relieved and now I am so scared again.

Don't worry, they did a pap when I was pregnant with my son. It won't cause any problems. If you do bleed, it's just from your cervix and won't affect the baby at all. Congratulations on your great scan!

Congratulations, so glad is all ok. I'd be really annoyed with the smear too. They aren't riutinely done here in pregnancy and they're certainly not done without consent!

I really hope it won't cause a problem. With my son I was 26 weeks and started having contractions after a pap smear so I never wanted to have it done in pregnancy again. It is so pointless too..they can't do anything if I do have cancer other than stress me out.

I had twice the amount of blood the attached image shows. I am laying down so idk if I will bleed any more later.
