Toddler backpack with reins

I think all the little life ones do don't they? There's a zip compartment at the top, it's in there.

WE have a monkey back pack. The rein is its tail.

Its so cute and she thinks it great having a little bag to carry around, she'l even put it on in the house

In my opinion it's wrong. You have a child, not a dog. If your child is that unruly you need to put him in a stroller or keep a better eye on him. And if you are that easily distracted that your LO is able to run off, what does that say about your parenting attention?

It's just my opinion. We've never used the child leashes (that's what they are) and my daughters have always either known NOT to run off (even when young toddlers) or are sitting contently in their stroller.

Sorry just not a fan. Leashes are for animals not children.

Yeah much better to fasten up your child in a pram all day so they can't ever stretch their legs. :dohh: Give 'em a Gregg's pasty while they're in there and a bottle of coke to keep them quiet.

i think its a little harsh to question someones parenting attention just because their child runs off.

my son runs off and i have my eyes on him at all times so my attention is top notch, he is a devious little toddler that sees any chance of escape and makes a run for it, not because he is an unruly brat but because he is an 18 month old excitable boy that just wants to see the world without restriction!

Letting children out of their buggys to walk around gives them the chance to explore and experience their surroundings rather than sit cooped in a buggy all day. I cant argue that Reins are a type of leash but id much rather leash my child than have him run into the road and get hit by a car.

back on topic, Ben has reins and a little life back pack. We used his back pack for a while but he always seemed to have a red mark on his neck afterwards so i went back to using reins every now and then. we tried a wrist strap but he soon learnt how to get that off!!

My hubby prefers not to use them and will make Ben hold hands but he is strong enough to carry Ben if this leads to a tantrum where as im 5.5 months pregnant and he weighs over 2 stone lol.
