Toddler bumped into belly hard

My 3 year old tried to lay next to me in bed. He likes to spoon, meaning he tends to back up his butt and often bumps into my belly that way. I am starting to worry as m belly is getting fairly big. Also today he did this movement while he was also wildly dropping down on the bed, so he bumped my belly very hard. The baby began moving like crazy right away, has been for the past 20 mins, and I have belly pain. Do I need to worry? And how do you generally protect your bumps with other children in the bed?

My toddler has bumped into my bump a fair few times and it’s always scary and stressful. I think if it was bad enough to still be causing you belly pain now it could be worth ringing your midwife/doctor to check.
