My daughter is 2 (will turn 3 on Boxing Day day). I started potty training her 2 weeks ago when she had a week off nursery. It went brilliantly. She only had 2 accidents the whole week and uses the toilet rather than a potty (which is good because they have small toilets at nursery rather than pottys). Poos have been a little harder and she goes several days without doing any but she has gone in her night pull up and a couple of times on the toilet. She's been fab and she even tells me when she needs to go.
Nursery has been a bit harder. She goes 3 x 6hr sessions per week and has been having a couple of accidents in the afternoons. I'm hoping that this will improve (she's only done one week in knickers so far).
The real problem I'm having is that this week she has started saying she needs the toilet and we go up and she doesn't need to go. This is happening every 5 mins sometimes and it's exhausting going up and down stairs constantly (I'm preg too). I doubt it's a physical problem as she is well in herself and when we are out or she's distracted then she's not asking as much. I just don't understand why in the third week she has started doing this. It was all so easy.
