Tommee Tippee Teats

Hi All,

My little girl is now on size 2 teats (medium flow) but they collapse into themselves. Is this to stop her gulping in air therefore making them anti-collic or is she just sucking too hard?

Your opinions would b great - thanks

From what I've read the little valve thing needs to be squeezed open from either side and that will stop them collapsing. I had the same problem until I read it on here. I don't think they tell you that on the instructions!! xx

Sorry to sound dumb lol but what is the valve? Is that the top bit where the milk comes out? Because me teats dont have any more holes in them?

Did you buy the anti colic plus ones by mistake as they don't have the valve in the teat as the air goes back in through the special tube, I imagine they would collapse when using as the air has no way to get back in the bottle.
Is there writing on the teat?

I think this is what i have done doh!!!! Grrr waste of a tenner!! Thanks for pointing this out to me otherwise i would have kept on telling everyone how rubbish TT are!!!

HAhahahh i used 2 b normal before baby brain settled in lol!!! I couldnt work out y her old teats never used to collapse!! Lol is there any hope 4 me!!!???!!

Lol, I sometimes wonder the same! I have awful baby brain sometimes. I caught myself putting a scoop of Aptamil Formula into the washing machine a couple of weeks ago!!xx

every time i have used new ttctn teats (haVE gone from 1-2-3) i notice they do have a tendency to collapse for a while, but after a few usues they are fine
