Tommee Tippee Vs Avent Breast Pump

Hello Ladies

I was just wonder if you could give me some advice, I had the tommee tippee with my DD and I did get on with it but we can't find it and I was wondering which one to go for soooo:

Who prefers Tommee Tippee Breast Pump and who prefers Avent?? Obviously I don't expect you to have tried both but if you have used one of them and found it great or didn't get on with it can you also say?

I tried the Avent electric pump and for me, it doesn't work. Tried that on one breast and the Medela Pump in Style on the other, and got LOADS more milk with the Medela (like, I got no milk with Avent and the Medela got me maybe 50ml in 10 minutes - on day 4 after having my baby). I had to go out and buy the Medela..

I've got the Tommy Tippie one and it's ok...whilst in hospital I used a Medela one and it was ace...they're expensive but if you're going to be expressing lots and can afford it I'd recommend the medela.

If you mean the manual ones i had the tt last time and thought it was good, but i didn't keep it. this time i got the avent one but don't find it as good, it loses suction easily so i wish i'd got the tt one again

I have tried the TT manual and electric, manual was good but electric I couldn't get even one drop.
I like the avent manual and electric.
I got a free nuby manual one too, that is good.

i have the avent electric and now i've got it figured out it's ok - not as fast as the hospital medela ones and a bit fiddly to clean tho

I had a tommee tippee one and it was crap, hardly got a drop. I would reccormend the medela it's a super pumping machine.

Thanks ladies - I might invest in a medela one then!! Just the one pump - the cheapest one or the super ones? I had a super one last time but it didn't work at all for me so I sent it back (rented) and I bought the TT electric too as I was bored of pumping with the manual and I too didn't get a drop on that thought it was rubbish!!! xx thanks for all your replies

I've tried Avent manual and Tommee Tippee manual. I find Tommee Tippee brilliant x
