I'm 8 months married and myself and my OH have agreed to start TTC, we only decided 2 weeks ago and it was just days after AF, I'm already going crazy looking for signs everywhere! I am 3 DPO. Anyone got tips to stop driving myself crazy??

Didn't want to read and run....Good Luck!!

Hi babe :flower:

I completely understand! I just finished my first month TCC no baby juts yet, but it's early days

I was also really excited and could not think about anything else! Towards the end of the TWW it was almost too much and i must say it nice to be at the beginning of a hopeful month again!

I found the only thing to take my mind of pregnant/not pregnant was socialising...but I sort of wanted to keep thinking about it :D and this site was great for sharing stuff with other ladies in the dreaded TWW!

Good luck and keep us posted! :hugs:

I was like that in the first few months.
Try to find a distraction for you, mine was cooking and I still do it. I'm usually in the kitchen during the TWW when I come home from work and at weekends. I search the net for different meals and cook them. my favorite site is www.jamieoliver.com
If you're not working and at home during the day you may try to learn painting, knitting, etc.
Anything that would keep your mind slightly of TTC. good luck with your TTC journey, I hope it'll be a short one for you xx

I know its so hard in the TWW when all you want is a baby! We are now starting cycle 5 of TTC#1 & I hate the TWW.....Ive got into baking to distract myself so thats where you will find me in the TWW (only problem with it is that my DH likes the cakes so much hes putting on weight!!!)

Good Luck to you xxx

Hey! I'm on cycle 7 ttc #1, I've just started a training programe to run the 5k for race for life and I'm really enjoying thinking about something other than TTC...Plus its getting me fit :) x

I was like that in the first month of TTC. I am now in my 3rd month TTC. I think in the first 2 months i didnt understand how ovulation and all of that worked, and when to have sex... i do now have a better understanding of how it all works, hopefully.

Goodluck to us! being patient is soooo hard!

I read a lot when I am waiting. I also got into baking bread. There is nothing like beating your frustrations out on some bread dough.

I crazy obsessed in the beginning. Maybe for the first whole year- I feel terrible saying that, hopefully you don't have to wait anywhere near as long. But After a while I reminded myself that I had felt all those same symptoms before. Unfortunately PG symptoms mimic pre AF and luteal phase symptoms. GL!
