Do you think baby dancing on the day you get a positive opk is too late to conceive? I thought perhaps the day before you get a positive is the best day? I guess doing it every day is the best, but I just wondered what everyone thought was the best time???

All the specialists I have seen seem to have a different take on this!! One has said that it's best to do it around the time you ovulate - days before, on and after the day of ovulation whereas another specialist said to be that I should do the do as soon as your cycle has finished right up until your next cycles starts - so do it every other day or every 3 days - this I would like to add is exhausting and does put a bit of strain on the relationship!

So I don't think doing on the day is a problem but just be doing it before as well as after to be sure.

No it's not too late!

A positive OPK means you've reached the LH surge, and from what I've read: "An LH surge can last from one to three days. Ovulation is most likely to occur sometime in the day and a half following the first day of the LH surge."
(From the directions downloaded here: https://www.early-pregnancy-tests.com/inovtesstrip.html )

The first month of trying OPKs we DTD the morning after I had gotten a positive OPK. (Tested mid afternoon the day before.) And that month I got my BFP. : )

Thank you!!! Due to my irregular cycles I had abit of a wobble and was convinced I wasn't going to ovulate so we didn't dtd for a couple of days because I was in a grump...then I took a opk and got a positive so we DTD but then started worrying we'd missed it by not baby dancing for a couple of days. Will just wait and see, hopefully we will be successful.
