Too many girl's names

I'm told that I won't even have this one, and most likely will miscarry. Still. At 14.5 weeks. And that I won't be able to have any more viable ones ur to egg quality.

Just an update if anyone has the same issue...

I did have a girl! And named her Persephone Marie. Ha.

The first name I ruled out. But I wanted the quirkiest name. Someone pointed out (if I stretch it) Penny could be a nickname for Persephone. So we call her Penny. Just family and close friends know her "real" name. And when she's older she can decided which to go by

I can't decide between five names. Seriously. This is the silliest, most petty thing I've ever posted for help. But each name is crazy important to me that I am pretty sure the poor baby will have five names. Thankfully if it's a boy I have just the normal amount. But I really feel like after 4 years and one serious miscarriage, this baby is it. So I know it's just me choosing all the important names for this one. But would you ladies do?

im sorry for your loss but curiously how do you have an 'UN'serious miscarraige?

thats just such strange phrasing

glad you found a name you like - Penny is cute

I think at the time I wrote that, my doctor had been preparing me for another miscarriage. That was her phrasing because it wasn't a chemical miscarriage.
I've had both, and both are painful

She was later dropped for a different doctor because when I wanted an ultrasound when I was bleeding, she denied me saying there was no point because "if it was dead then it was dead and nothing could be done. And if it was alive then it's fine". I left there sobbing.

I've had multiple mc's and took 5 years and 6 IVF's until we got pregnant naturally. We were gearing up for a 7th donor egg IVF and we were also on the adoption list. We're going to try for a second and if that doesn't work we'll try donor egg IVF again. We're saving our second picks with boy & girl names for our second child. Never say never and don't let a stupid doctor ramp up your worries while you are pregnant. They should be giving you positivity & support and scans if you're bleeding. That's their job, nothing more or less. We've had 2 mc's and a chemical too, keep persevering if you want more children. BUT don't make this child suffer with 5 names:haha:

She shall suffer the Persephone name!! Haha
No, if she likes it great, and if not she has a good middle name to fall back on.
But she has the normal First, Middle, Last

And if I ever have another daughter it will be sooo much easier naming her!

Good luck 2have4kids!!!

Thank you! I think it's elegant and pretty. And I'm a big Greek mythology fan, so I always wanted an old name like that.

my daughter has one middle name and two surnames. its a mouthful. middle names will never be used as such. so if your just wanting them.on the birth certificate then it wont matter. xx
