Too scared to test after a CP last month - AF due tomorrow

Hi ladies -

Anyone else been too afraid to test early after a CP? I'm almost frozen - i know I could technically test but it just feels too scary to get another positive only to have it be taken away again.

AF is due tomorrow - really really hoping she doesn't show.

My bbs are still quite swollen and sore, but this happens before AF - its usually just on the sides though and rn now they are sore all over, feel like a deep bruise. I had a sharp pain in my lower left abdomen/pelvic region on Tuesday night and it continued to feel sore in that spot until i fell asleep last night - this morning (Friday) there is no pain. I also have had some slight indigestion and been more than a bit gassy.

I had the most vivid dreams of my life last night and kept waking up with my heart racing - likely anxiety over what i am going to find out over the next couple days.

Anyone else testing this weekend? Or close to AF and want to share their symptoms? Baby dust to all! Really hoping for a sticky bean this round!

Dream I’m so sorry you had to go through that I personally can’t relate and honestly cant even give you advice for a situation I wouldn’t know what to do in either .. so instead I’m just going to cheer you on from the sidelines && send lots of good vibes you’re way Hang in there girl && Hopefully Af never shows up because you’ve got a sticky bean in you!! I know its a super common thing that happens to women, so I shouldn't be so sad/nervous moving forward, but my brain isnt so easy to turn off.

Which is another reason why i love this forum and all the wonderful, supportive women in it

Aw you’re welcome! At least you know that whatever you decided to do, test or wait to see if af shows, you could always come here and know you’d be supported in that decision! And yes it’s very common and trust me I feel AWFUL to say this but I’ve never even had a chem but in reality for me that means even concieving in the first place TTC is so hard & as bad as I feel about such an early loss I would rather have known it was even possible to conceive & that it did happen So knowing going forward it’ll happen again.. so keep your head up because you WILL get a sticky && I’m praying for you girl! Af is due tomorrow Dream? That’s not too far away to finally know what’s up! Do you have any of your regular af symptoms or any symptoms you had with your last bfp??

I will never test early again after a chemical in January (i’m ntnp so wasn’t even getting my hopes up)

I honestly now wouldn’t test before a missed period. Next time I do a pregnancy test I want to be sure i’m going to see 2 big fat lines

As far as symptoms go, my bbs are quite sore, and usually before AF they do get sore but only on the outsides/under armpits - but this time they are sore inside, outside, top, bottom alllll over.
I have a persistent tightness in my lower left abdomen and im gassy wacko
Before AF i am usually very emotional, and crampy... i have waves of movement in my lower abdomen now but not feeling intense cramps so hoping thats a good sign. FX!
I felt the worst, most intense cramps with my CP - and i was a total wreck bc i knew something bad was happening.. DH kept telling me all was fine but my intuition kicked in and i was so depressed before the bleed even happened.

I know its only 24 hours but it feels like it is going to be an eternity!

I 100% understand. Its a weird panic - totally frozen until days after AF. I almost feel like I will just be assuming AF will be late, and may not even be able to force myself to test until Monday or Tuesday.. (or wed, or thurs, or fri... )

I had a cp at xmas i know exactly hope you feel x before it happened i always thought that once you get a bfp that was it x but im really nervous too now x when i do get a bfp again im gonna be scared until im like 6 weeks atleast i think lol. But like you say we gotta stay positive x they do say your more fertile for a couple of months after cp my af is due on sunday and im pretty sure im pregnant x serious cramps and i feel the same way as i did when i had my son x just gonna be so scared to get my hopes up again x good luck and i hope you get a sticky bean soon

I woke up at 2:30am and had to pee so I decided to test (AF never came yesterday) and I got a BFP on a digital!! I could not ha sleep looking at lines so I had to see the words and I am SO thrilled - really really hoping this little bean sticks around for a happy and healthy 9 months!!

I just sneezed really hard and it made my lower left abdomen hurt so of course im all paranoid -- does the relaxation ever come? lolll

Lol, I remember googling if sneezing hurts the baby if pregnant. Don't worry, I am sure its just you are so tuned to your body right now that you are noticing every details. Try to relax as much as you can
