Hey guys, I'm new here to the forums... I've been a lurker for a while but now I'm desperate for some feedback and a shoulder to cry on....to give y'all a history, I've been on birth control since I was 14 (29 now) and me and my husband decided to start trying so I quit birth control and instantly got pregnant then miscarried at 9weeks for an unknown cause...... It was absolutely devastating and something I still struggle with daily ... Since then, we have been trying for about year. I've never temp charted but never tested positive on my ovulation kits so I knew something was wrong....my gyn said I have "slight pcos" and most likely haven't ovulated since we have been trying again.. However, my cycles were mostly regular.... I'm on my second round of clomid and my cycles are normally 28 days and I'm on day 14 now with SERIOUS gass and bloating. I had this last month and my day 21 progesterone was 43!!! I'm also still NEVER testing positive on my ovulation tests so it's hard for me to believe I'm actually ovulating on clomid??

Things I wanted to ask y'all, did y'all have serious gas/bloating/abdominal discomfort/pressure the week around ovulation ? I called my gyn and they said it was normal but I'm worried about cysts...especially if I responded last month but didn't get pregnant.... And have y'all ever fallen pregnant and never positive on ovulation tests?

Please help! I feel like us trying to conceive is completely consuming me and all my thoughts.....

I've never had clomid nor do I suffer from pcos but I do know that when I ovulate, I get really bad cramps and sometimes some bleeding. Never noticed bloating though.

We had a similar experience to you. Started trying, fell pregnant pretty quick, that was a missed miscarriage, then started trying again straight after, took another year to fall pregnant, that was a chemical, then 2 years after that (so over 3 years in total), I fell pregnant with my son. Baby number 2 however only took 1 month to conceive!?!

I hope you don't have to wait as long as we did but don't ever give up hope. All those people that tell you to relax, you're trying too hard. Load of rubbish. The month we fell pregnant, I was due to start IVF. Everyone kept telling me that's why I fell pregnant, because I'd relaxed. I didn't relax. I didn't want to go through IVF so we tried harder than ever that month! x

I also do not suffer from pcos nor do I have any experience on chlomid, but I too have severe cramps and bloating around ovulation, to the point where I can barely walk. In one way, it is great that I know the day that I ovulated, but I also worry about it. RE said that pain around ovulation is normal, but from what I have found (via online research because my RE was obviously no help in the matter) severe pain around ovulation isn't necessarily normal. I plan to go back in a few months, and hope that this time she schedules me for a laparoscopy.

FX for you that the chlomid helps to balance out your cycles! I completely understand feeling that TTC is all consuming. Im not even sure what I had to think/stress about before!
