Hi ladies, my little lady was head down at 33 weeks but decided last week that she wasn't keen so flipped back to transverse again!
I had guessed something had happened as had lots of movements one night and quite severe pain.

My question is, does she still have time to flip back or would she be classed as too big now?
She stayed head down for about 2 weeks only but has been transverse rest of the pregnancy.

Midwife has said it could be because she's long or cos I have lots of water, bubs was measuring small at 31 week scan.

Also, will it affect my cesarean if she's sideways??

mine flipped last week they have time until they come I was told by the consultant in hospital. She said after 38w only 5% do but you have good chances :)

and no it wont affect your c section. If anything they have more room to cut as baby is high generally if transverse. They may want you in hospital early though if she doesn't move to fully breech

I think my baby is transverse, can't wait till the midwife appointment on wednesday to find out, I hope she turns though other wise I can't give birth at the birthing centre if she's not head down :(

They can try an ECV but it didn't work for me as he is fully breech head in my ribs.

I'm 35 weeks tomorrow and my baby is doing all kinds of acrobatics in there. Yesterday was head down, this morning he is hip to hip.. its been this way for weeks

my baby was transverse at 34weeks, head down now though, you have all the way up into labour for baby to turn, try not to worry too much im sure she has plenty of room to move down again, my baby is constantly bobbing up and down in the pelvis!
