Hi :) I'm 24 weeks pregnant tomorrow, so very near to buying everything I will need! The problem is that I have a Ford KA and was worried about fitting a pram in there. I want a travel system, as I will need the car seat. Does anyone know of any that will fit in my boot, is a good pram safe pram (as I will be attaching a buggy board to it for my 2 year old daughter) and costs less than £400? I was looking at the petite star zia evolve travel system, but obviously not sure if it will fit :/ any help will be appreciated! Thank you :)

I have a mama's and papas luna and it's fairly compact. I think it would get in the boot no problem. There is also the babystyle oyster, the frame compacts right down x

Haha my tip to you would be don't get a quinny buzz!! Had a ka and a quinny with my 1st daughter......nightmare! Xx

I have a nissan micra and I just got the quinny zapp xtra with maxi cosy car seat. Its tiny!! I love it x

Thanks for posting this - I was going to ask the very same question! Can't afford to change my KA3 (nor do I want to), and bfs car isn't much better for size - a Toyota Yaris, so we've both been wondering this. Thanks for the replies everyone.

quinny zapp xtra fits, also managed to get a graco mosaic in mine too, but you had to get it in a certain way.

ive got an icandy cherry it'd probably fit.. dont have my ka anymore to try though but it folds in two parts and goes pretty small
seatbelts in the back are a bit short though, so when you buy your carseat check it fits.. mine fitted a maxi cosi cabrio fix & at a certain angle the graco carseat would fit too, as long as it was tilted.they were the only two i tried while i had it :flower:

the mothercare spin also fits in the boot apparently, but i dunno how much they cost and apparently theyre not brilliant pushchairs x

My dad deals in kas so iv seen many of customers refuse to buy one on basics pram wont fit
Im not good with name but ill do a list

Donts
This will but at an unsafe push hauk Apollo iv seen one go in many time but means removing back self and having it block the view
Mother care travel system
Silver cross that starts off as a lay down usually see it in bluey grey
Quinnys most new modern ones do but at push like the zap
Graco mosica actually iv never seen any make graco fit !

Dos
Pretty much all mamas and papas I have sola thats fine luna and urbo fit well the mylo does
You will have to remove the carrycot bit but all fita well do have to pop one wheels off
Maxi cosI the little one thats no help but frame is same as the sol that fits nice
Qinny zap does

Most of the more modern sleek ones fit

Quincy zapp with maxi cosi seat, te buggy folds so small and it's really light, but also is well made x

Try the Oyster, that folds pretty small and is a good price! Good luck! xxx

Best bet's to go to somewhere like kiddicare and explain your situation and they'll let you try different prams folded to see if they fit in your car. The other potential pitfall might be the carseat - we actually had to get rid of an Astra Estate of all things because we couldn't get the space for the carseat to sit properly (as opposed to jammed up vertically) behind the front seats as hubby's so tall we need the seats right back to fit his flipping legs in!

Worst case one of the lie flat suitable from newborn umbrella type strollers (so Mclaren or Cosatto or something) will definitely fit. Or what about something that comes as a two part fold? I know my old iCandy cherry would have worked in my old Micra (got rid of it as it failed its MOT and we went down to 1 car) if I'd put the wheel part in the boot and just propped the seat unit behind the other back seat.

This is what we have, I didnt like it when I looked online but I love it when it arrived, my OH loves it too and it fits with loads of space!

get a sling - fits in the boot easy peasy :haha:

or I would second the zapp especailly zapp extra

Thank you so much for all of your replies :) I think I will get a Quinny Zapp Xtra. It seems that it will fit perfectly in my car. You've all been helpful :) thank you

I have a cosatto giggle and it folds down nice.

Could you go to a shop that lets you try them out in your car?

Hi :) Yes I went to Kiddicare and had a go at the Quinny, which fit perfectly :)

Awesome. :)

Now you know that fits you could even fold one down in a shop, measure it, and then fold the others in the shop and do the same. :)
