Has anyone travelled with LO to another country? What did you do about water to make up bottles? Did you use tap water and boil it, buy bottled water? Or buy bottled water and boil it?

I am getting conflicting advice from health people.

My baby will be 3 months when we are travelling and staying for 2 months. We are going Jamaica.

Hi hun, I haven't travelled yet with this one but we have a place in Spain and took my son loads when he was a baby - I was told back then (my ds is now 6) that you should use bottled water and the sodium content had to be below a certain level (can't remember now what this level was though sorry) It was interesting to see just how high the sodium content was on most bottled water (we could only find 2/3 with the correct levels) Then to make up bottles we then boiled the bottled water. Hope this helps

We donr have fresh water here & we always use bottled. When you use bottled water avoid boiling it as it increases the concentrate of menerals. If you can find Nestle where you'r going it would be great. Avoid any volcanic or spring water as they have high concentrate of menerals. xx
