Trouble accepting a friend request

Hello. Someone sent me a friend request. I checked the "accept" box and clicked "save changes" but nothing happens and the friend request is still sitting there. What am I doing wrong?

Try clearing your cache if you are having problems but I have sorted the above for you in the mean time
