Tryin to have a baby after having ulcerative colitis.

I had ulcerative colitis for 3 years then it had finally got to the point where i had it have my whole colon removed. It took 3 surgery's to get everything done. Its been almost a year that i have not had a colostomy bag now me and my husband are trying to have a baby.
I would like to know if any one has had this and you have had a child after all of it.
