Hello..I try to stay away from this forum but I'm driving myself mad!
Some history: I'm 29 normal bmi and normal hormone levels.one polycystic ovary awaiting clomid, should start next month.
Anyway, at the fertility clinic on cd16 they confirmed I'd ovulated "last cycle"looking at the ultrasound of my left ovary (cyst free). I asked "definitely last cycle?"the doc said yes, but only after my apt did I realise she was a week out when she referred to my last period and therefor thought I was on cd 9.
Anyway, thought no more about it...but now on cd 29 (no af but my cycles vary anything upfrom 30 to 50 days) and I've had pinkish discharge since yesterday, only very slight, and really sore nipples. Thought it was very early af but nothing yet and no normal back pain before period..can't help but have a tiny hope it's implantation...
So...and I get hopes up a little each month...I guess I'm asking, could that ovulation on the scan have actually been this cycle? Can they get it wrong? I mean, how could a follicle from 4 weeks previously and before my last period still be visible on ultrasound?
Help please! X

Should point out, ovulation natural as not on clomid yet.probs first ever natural ovulation as bloods showed none for 4 straight months.

I dont have any ideas, but I didnt want to R&R. Did u try calling ur dr to double check they were basing things on where u r with ur ACTUAL cycle? Thats all I can think of. Sorry that Im not much help!

Thanks but I'm as well just waiting now to see if af shows.

Everything I read seems to say the follicle collapses with mensuration which makes me think maybe I did ovulate when I got the scan...out to get a test as it's diving me mad.

After ovulation the follicle becomes the corpus luteum, which doesn't look like the follicle before ovulation. As you get your period, the corpus luteum collapses and is shed with the lining. I don't want to get your hopes up either, but yes, there is a chance it could be implantation or something related to pregnancy, especially if it's pinkish/brownish and not red. keep us posted:thumbup:

Didi the line show up within the time limit? If yes..........BFP:happydance:

I've tried those tests before and lines don't get really dark so don't worry about the color too much:winkwink:

Get a FRER and you'll see a beautiful 2nd line:happydance:

Yes, both came up in about 3 mins...eeeeek! never actually expected a line, done so many bfn tests, I just thought it'd be another bfn and I could get on with my day, instead I haven't slept and dying to get a digital test after work to keep testing as it doesn't seem real...and worried incase it's short lived....I just can't believe it.

Congrats!!!

Don't get a digital; they're not as sensitive. Get a First response instead. The lines are super easy to see:winkwink:

First response BFN...no line whatsoever....like it never happened. not even surprised, knew it was too good to be true.
