Hey there! I believe I am in the same boat
I had to use Clomid first time around and it took two cycles. LO is 12 weeks tomorrow and we are now NTNP #2! I will probably continues to do so until after the first of the year at minimum

I got AF last wednesday and was very happy about it

Maybe things are on the right track!
Lets do this together!
Hi faithforbaby
Nice to find you on here, thanks for joining this thread. Congrats your AF returning, i'm jealous (and i say that will all sincerity). Have you previously had struggles with your cycles or was it simply the conceiving end? Are you exclusively breastfeeding? This is my second day of giving my baby girl solids in replacement of 2 out of 5 of her breastfed meals. I was utterly shocked she guzzled down her rice milk & banana moosh in under 5 minutes! hahaha. She doesn't mess around that one!
Sometime i look at her and i think, i really dont want a second one right now as im so enjoying my time with her, and then i am reminded how long a baby takes to cook in the oven and then think to myself, yeah let's start trying i dont want to be waiting months on end like the first time.
I am really hoping and praying that we both conceive our baby #2 without having to wait a moment more.
Xx
Nice to find you as well!

I actually never got AF till I was 18 years old, and when I did, it was like 9 days long, and I was hemmorhaging. I couldn' t leave my house because I would go through a pad and a super tampon in 30min. When I was on my way to a specialized OBGYN, I had to stop 30 min into the drive and clean up bc it had gone through to the seat of my car! They never did find out what was going on.

I never got AF again after that and consulted my family dr who put me on BCPs to get a period. I took that from 2007 till Feb 11 where I was married and wanted to TTC. I only got 2 periods on my own after that so TTC was super rough and since we were TTC on our own, I took a pregnancy test every Friday, as I never knew what was going on or if I had ovulated. Finally I decided to seek a fertility specialist and after doing blood work he said that I had maybe ovulated 2 or 3 times in my life at best. Levels were low, and he assumed it was due to PCOS. (I had had a history of 2 ovarian cysts rupturing on me

...no fun!) He went ahead and had me do Provera to get a period and make sure the lining of my uterus was ok. After that I did the clomid and then they would check for follicle size. After he saw the follicles, he had me trigger. It took 2 cycles and worked great for me! (I will admit, I give all credit to God

I know He has placed people like my FS on this planet for a reason. --> I was always one of those people who said they wouldn't seek fertility..that if I was supposed to have children it would happen. Thats when I realized He is the one who made these people for a reason

My FS was amazing!
Now, I am sitting with her in my lap and I couldn't be more happy! She is the light of my life, and I love her with every ounce of me! I think that if I am able to concieve on my own that would be great! Why block it from happening even if she is only 12 weeks. I have crossed the thought of 'enjoying time with her now' and 'it takes a while to cook, why not!?' I am in the same boat as you
As far as breastfeeding. I did breastfeed up until 9 weeks, but from the 5th day postpartum I then supplemented formula just at night. She slept 12-6 right away doing that.

She seemed very content with formula and breast milk, so I just slowly over about a week or two weened her. She has done great so far! Sometimes I miss it, and I think I will go longer with #2, but it is so hard when you are a new mom and don't know what to expect. I feel I will be a pro next time! haha! She is 12 weeks today, and I will probably introduce really really runny stage 1 cereal in 2-3 weeks.
Whoa, just realized how long this was...but there was sooo much to say!! Good luck to all of us! Pretty excited to have some buddies!!
