Trying to conceive baby #2. Clomid again? Looking for some buddies x

Doh! hahaha same boat here! i thought i may have been ovulating according to my CM but perhaps its my body adjusting back to non pregnant/ non breastfeeding mode, as the CM is still consistent and its been a week .

I've officially stopped breastfeeding, its been almost a week now, my boobs are still fairly hard.. i thought they would of softened a bit by now since i was only feeding once a day... hope they do soon as they kinda hurt. Anyone have the same thing? ive been going into our apartments sauna hoping it assists with the process (pretty sure heat helps dry up)

Ladies, i'm going to give it a few more days for my boobs to go back to normal, as i dont want to start my clomid cycle without my milk drying up first. I am taking 3x vitex capsules (to kickstart my cycle) and ordered more maca powder capsules (increases libido, energy, balances hormones = miracle wonder!) I have researched an acupuncturist who specialises in fertility (as you know i have moved from Brisbane AUS, to Texas US) i will be going to see her in maybe a week. The month i conceived my babygirl i went and saw an acupuncturist spec in fertility a few days after my cycle started, which i believe really helped me and my body relax, rejuvenate for a baby to live inside for 9mths Though looking back i dont remember exactly what day i saw her in my cycle as i remember her saying it was important for implantation + clomid. Anyone know?

Im currently ttc baby number 2,

I have pcos and it took 5 years to ttc my daughter I managed to get pregnant on my 3rd round of clomid

My daughter is now 2 year old and I stopped my pill in April ive been ntnp since then im going to give my body 6 months to see if nature takes its course before trying with clomid again, I also had lots of ewcm this month which im totally not used to as in the past didn't ovulate only on the clomid I experienced it which is kind of exciting because I think my body might be doing the right thing exciting times ahead im now on cd22... I hope you ladies get your bfp without the need of clomid its nice to have people in the same situation

Babydust1, lovely to find you on here... WELCOME ! you will find we are all in similar boat as yourself. My little one is 6mths, i have recently stopped exclusively breastfeeding as it took a fair while to conceive my babygirl and i had to weigh up continuing breastfeeding or trying for our second. I will be started clomid shortly for our first round of TTC #2.

Im sorry to hear you had such a difficult time conceiving, 5 yrs wow... i bet your were thrilled to hear your cycle #3 of clomid was a success! Did you try anything else to assist? any alternate remedies or treatments?

Thankyou hun, no I didn't try anything else I did have ovarian drilling just 3 months before getting pregnant so I think that helped alot.inthink its going to be hard for me to get clomid again for this baby because since having my daughter I've moved city and my doctor here isn't nice and isn't understanding he basically goes against everything I say... But my other fertility specialist was lovely and told me when iy was time to conceive baby num er 2 he surely would give me clomid again but he'd now 126 miles away :'( going to try get help o dont think o can wait till after Xmas lol im too broody lol I think im.out this month anyways but wasn't really trying anyways gl to you all

Can you find yourself another Dr? i would! Before we moved to Houston, TX i was trying to get a clomid script to take with me over here so i could begin trying when we arrived rather then trying to look for a Dr in a totally different country. My Dr said no to the script, said she couldnt monitor me on it despite never monitoring. So i simply went to another Dr and picked the script up easy. Perhaps theres a bulk billing Dr locally?

It does but due to long cycles I don't know if I've oved naturally or not, if I have and then I take something to induce ov again I don't know what would happen!

Ohhhh hahaha sorry! i feel so out of the loop with clomid now if you would of asked me a year ago i would of been all up to date! i had to google the other day what days to take clomid, as i forget it! funny how your mind lets things slip when previously you were so consumed by it.

Im the same as you! Im sooooo surprised at INSTANTLY and i mean INSTANTLY the next day or two after stopping completely breastfeeding my body is slowly starting to feel normal in the intimacy department. I know theres a stage where you eggs drop before their first period after birth (the phase where they say woman have fallen before their first period). Im open for that to happen, but in saying that i wont know if i should take clomid or not incase i do catch the eggs

What are you going to do? Guess you could always refrain from sex for a few days, see if you have any early preg signs(even test) and then start clomid? at least you know for sure?.. but tots your decision xxx

I'm on cd 34 now! I'm giving it another 2 weeks for AF or BFP , if nothing happens gonna go to doc and ask for a progesterone blood test , hopefully he will!

Oh wow a 28 day cycle. Good for you! whats your cycles like normally? i dont remember the last time i had a period naturally - oh wait March 2011 lol.

Let us know what your Dr's says and if/when you get booked in for your Specialist Apt. What is your best outcome your wanting?

Yay, even if it doesnt happen this month im still glad i am on the path, one step closer for baby #2.

Really? thats bizarre i wonder why that is? Isn't there a reason why they get you to take it on selective days when your menstruating? When i wouldn't get my period for ages my Fertility Specialist suggested Provera to take prior to clomid and not simply to take clomid. I wonder why different specialists do different things, makes it all the more confusing

I don't know but it worked first go lol. He did do a blood test obv to make sure I hadn't oved which I knew I hadn't itd been 5 months no AF.
He just said start clomid tomorrow and well call that day 5.

my cycle is usually 30-35 days long so was really excited to see a 28 day one

Went to see doctor yesterday and asked about fertility specialist and about clomid he told me I cant be sent to a fertility specialist and cant have clomid because ive got a child they just wont see me :'( which i know is bull but he Won't even try.... My last specialist 126 miles away had told me when the right time for me to conceive again i could have clomid. This doctor is useless looks like im going to have to change and see if i can get any luck else where. :'(

My gp just said now we know what work he can prescribe it (save paying the specialist) I hope that's still the case when I go!

It probably is hun my gp is just 'shit' sorry for language hes never been any help at all... im quite upset about this and all he tells me is ive got a child i shoukd be lucky..... i am lucky and thsnk god every day with what ive been blessed with but him telling me that foesnt make it better because i desperatly want to add to my family and he just tells me eithout money to pay private ill only ever have 1.... when he aint even willing to prescribe it because he cant snd eont refer me to the specialist to see ehat my options are
