Hi,

Im kinda new to this.

I had a pregnancy 2 years ago and i miscarried at 11 weeks.
Im now actively trying to get pregnant this time and it just doesnt seem to be happening.
My first pregnancy i fell pregnant without the use of ovulation tests etc and was pregnant within 5 months.
This time i have been off the pill for 6 months and nothing has happend.....

Please help, starting to loose faith in it all.....

Try not to lose faith! I got pregnant 8 years ago without trying (actually trying to prevent) and I have a lovely 8 year old son. I assumed it would come easy the next time, so we started trying the beginning of this year. It took until July to get my BFP, but sadly I miscarried at 7 weeks. We waited one cycle and we are now trying again! I am waiting on O!

If you don't hold out hope what will you have left? My doctor assured me that a positive out of my MC was that we know that I can get pregnant (although I though we already knew that because of DH). So you know that you can get pregnant too! Do you chart your BBT, check CM, besides taking OPKs? If not, I would recommend to start charting... it is possible to get a + OPK and not O.

I work with a lady that was TTC for 8 years! She went through fertility meds, IUI, and IVF and was never able to get pregnant. The went to NTNP while they were checking into adoption and she got pregnant naturally! She now has a darling son who is 9 months old.

Even in the bleakest situtaiton there is still hope!

Ya no worries Lauren1991 i'm sure things will work out fine! It's just frustrating because this is the only thing you cant controle, go out and buy, rent etc etc. lololol.

If you find it a bit too tricky to manage to catch your O date then you should definetly use OPK's. Do u have a normal 28 day cycle or it variates or etc?

I'm sending you and Twinkie210 super duper positive vibes (and me toooo) for a little october conception!

I have a cycle that really varies but on average i would say im 29-30 days so i done a Clearblue digital ovulation test last night after holding a pee in for hours and i got the circle then this morning i thought i would try it and i got the smiley face hence my avatar lol.
I then done one again this afternoon and got the cirlce again, im wondering if its just more concentrated in the morning.

These things are all a bit new to me........

It might be that they are more concentrated in the morning or you may just have a short LH surge. I only got one positive OPK when I used them in July and the rest were clearly negative. But we timed everything right because that was the month I got pregnant! I am hoping the work this month too, I thought I might have got a positive OPK this morning, but I am thinking it was just a strong negative.

Kinda lost the will to even try now lol, got one of those psychic readings on ebay and she's saying that I will conceive early feb 2012!!! Why can't this month by mine god sakes!!!! Seriously pissed off now x

While they are fun to do, I wouldn't let the reading discourage you! I know some women on here get them and they are told they are going to conceive in a certain month and nothing happens. While I do believe they are right some of the time, I don't think they are always right!

I know this thread is super old but was wondering how u both got on? I got pregnant the month we were talking about in this thread but I miscarried early November (blighted ovum)

My psychic reading was right to a T, I conceived early feb 2012 and had a little boy like she said, we called him Kameron, he was born on the 14th November '12 @ 03:47am by emergency c section. He is my absolute world, Now he's 19 months were ttc #2 with pcos. We miscarried middle of May '14 so back to it all again. Joined the Clearblue study for the next cycle too 😊 fingers crossed! Xx
