Trying to think of cute public announcements

I am trying to think of cute photo ideas for when we finally announce the baby publicly. My family and close friends already know but I plan to make the big announcement after my next scan, which will be a little after I am 13 weeks. I would really like to include my 7 year old stepson somehow so that he feels like a special part of this and so he can start getting excited about the baby. We haven't actually told him yet because I am high risk with a history of losses and we wanted to wait until after the second semester started to be safe. I will probably be telling him the day of my scan on the 22nd. I'm not really all that creative when it comes to things like this and I tried looking up ideas online, but nothing seems to fit our particular situation. I love the chalk board ideas and things like that but I can't really write something like "promoted to big brother" because he already has a sister from his mom, and is therefore already a big brother. But I don't think I could add "again" either because this will be his first sibling from his dad, and this will by my first child. Any suggestions?

You could just do something like "Proud to be a big brother" or even leave words out entirely and just have a picture of him holding the scan pic or something.

I've not announced on Facebook yet - waiting for the gender scan next week - but I'm going to have my 6 year old son draw a picture of our newest addition after we know if he's getting another brother or a sister. Then I'll snap a pic of that and put it on FB with some sort of simple caption, probably along the lines of "Baby [boy/girl], due early November" or something. I'm not overly creative in these things myself, and I've waited so long to announce that now it feels sorta awkward

My other children wore the lil' monster 1&2 tops they have (OH's mum got them from holiday) and my boy held the scan pic and I had a lil' monster 3 sign in front of my tummy.

I have a small blackboard I wrote on it "I'm going to be a big brother" and just uploaded that with my son holding it

I decided not to have any of the kids in my announcement this time, as i have 3 kiddies of my own and i have a step son aswell i decided it would be easier to just not use the kiddies in my announcement, this was mine


But if you do want an announcement with your step son how about photographing him holding the scan photo as ur announcement? Or does your step son have your partners surname? And if the new baby will have your partners surname you could write on the chalk board "baby (surname) no2 coming (due date)" and have your step son hold that? Xx
