Trying to understand scans... Please help

Hey ladies... I could really use some advice... I've never had a scan to check for follicles and that stuff but I had one Tuesday and it showed a 2.2cm dominant follicle on my right ovary and that my lining has a thickness of 7mm... Is this a good sign and that it should be releasing an egg very soon right? I'm trying to understand this whole scan stuff LOL... Thanks in advance ladies...

Thank you... So if I bd'd on the 24th, 27th, 28th and today.... You think I could of possibly gotten it on time??

I'm just confused cuz I don't even have EWCM and haven't had any... I had some the week of the 7th all that week so I thought I ovulated then til I had the scan on this last Tuesday... My cm has only been creamy and a bit stretchy but nothing like the EWCM so I'm just a little confused LOL... I haven't had any period in awhile cuz I had the Nexplanon and just had it removed on March 2nd
