TTC #1 after depo. PLease Help!!

Hello Ladies,
So I did not go back for my 3rd depo shot a few weeks ago. I have been using vitax and other herbal pills for fertility. My doctor says it will help get my periods back since I didnt have them once I started depo. I have felt my cervix start to soften in October since I felt ovulation symptoms. My hubby and I did the dead last night and he decided to pull out. We have talked about trying again. How possible is it to get pregnant after being on depo for a few months?? I wanted to surpise him; i cant wait for his reaction. Has anyone been on depo and then got pregnant? currently we arent using a form of BC, hence why we are trying.

If you haven't gotten a period since being off depo it's possible but I likely that you are pregnant, especially if hubby pulled out.

They say it's about 3 months from your last shot for Depo to "clear", but even then since it's injected into your muscles, it's not truely "clear" from your body at that point. It's possible that it could take longer for residual hormones to move through your body, unlike the pill which is removed from your system very quickly.

The "typical" medical stance is that you *can* get pregnant as early as 3 months after you last shot. It can also take up to a year, which I believe is the usual stance taken by the medical folks. And some individuals have reported longer, though whether or not this is depo-related is difficult to ascertain.
