TTC#1 Buddy??

Oooh, I'm starting a new shiny thread in this new shiny section!

Would anyone like to be a TTC#1 buddy with me??

DH and are on our first cycle after after having mirena coil removed 10th March and I *think* I'm on cd 13 but can't be 100% sure due to lack of the while mirena was in!

I'm 27, DH is 34, and we live in beautiful sunny Devon. I'd love to have someone else that is in a similar situation as me, e.g. first cycle etc... but I'm a friendly little soul so anyone is welcome!

We're in our 3rd cycle trying for #1. I'm on CD 5 of 25 or 27 or whatever my body feels like this month.

I'm 27 and DH is 40. We tried once before a couple years ago, but gave up. This time I'm not quitting until I'm a mommy!

We have been together for nrly 7 years, and my dh never wanted anymore kids as he's had loads of problems with his own (well the kids mothers) and he has eventually given into my demands and now we are excited to start a family... Unfortunately our 1st attempt ended in a m/c and i got pg after 1 cycle following this and this also ended in m/c....so its been a ruff start. But hey we picked ourselves up and have been not trying not preventing for last couple months.....soo hope this is our month as it wud result in a xmas bambino!!!

I ov on tues i think, so am cd8 today, bn bd'ing lots already!! Hee hee!! Started opk'ing and the line is a little darker today so hoping to get a nice dark positive after the weekend....

I am in my first real cycle of "trying" after my m/c in Jan (tried straight away but it didn't take).
Would love a buddy - I have 32 ish day cycles (although not sure if m/c might have disrupted that as it does change things for some people) and am on day 22 at the moment.

I was lucky as my cycles seem to be Okish after my m/c's i have 24-26 day cycles so quite short, my first cycles aftet both mc's were 26 then i had 27 then 24 then last two 26 so decided to opk as havent got a clue wen i ov!! Hope it works out this month for us both!! My dh not into all the babymaking talk he just wants it all to happen naturally rather than 'we need to bd right now' so will just have to stay calm and act normal wen i get a positive opk! I know i will be soooo excited tho!! Hee hee xx

Hey Claire - what day are you on now?
I'm def going to try opks next cycle as I usually temp but since m/c my temps have been all over the place so its harder to pinpoint what's going on.
Have you ever used them before? gets a bit addictive!

Oh My hubby is the same, he seems to think that we can just BD anytime and wham we're pregnant! I've decided to keep the ovulation timing stuff to myself and we're just every 2-3 days so he doesn't feel like it's timed and clinical. Its quite sweet really that he wants the baby to be conceived as naturally as possible!

I've just come off the pill (cileste) and am on CD 12, I think I've already OV'd, I was trying to wait to see how things went this month and think about getting OPKs next month, but I gave in and they arrived yesterday which was a bit too late! I'm still using them just in case, lol, I think I'm a POAS addict!

hi girls ,well im cd8 today so i should ov in a couple of days...fingers crossed, i have booked for me n dh to go away from mon to wed for a couple of nights, should ov tues according to my ff so hoping to get lotsa bd'ing in over these 3 days! yaaay! Well thats my cunning plan anyway!

Sound like our dh's same luxy, its nice to know someone is in a similar boat to me!! i just try and do the same but recently the timing just not been right and we've probs had one go at it around ov time, not enuf me thinks...

Liz opk's are great especially if you are a POAS addict like me....i had a play around with them a couple of months ago, wasnt sure what i was doing so missed my ov i think, then last month did them for real and i got a positive OPK, but much later than i thought i would ov in my cycle....so they are really good and fun!! Try them next month, i think i only paid £4 for 30 off the internet. i cant temp as i work shifts so am never up at sametime each day. apparently temping is really good, a friend of mine has just fallen pg through temping, she thought she would give it a go and fell straight away! Fab! Do you think you have caught the little eggy this cycle then? Good luck i hope you have!!! xxx

hi hun! im a POAS addict too! i ordered some pg tests last month and tested at 2dpo!!! ha ha, just wanted to see if they worked! lol! i didnt test again until 7dpo and had used 40 ic's by time af arrived im loving the OPK's they substituting the IC's and Frers at min!!!

Do you think you have managed to catch the eggy this cycle???xx Are you 1dpo today then or more?? xx

Babyhopes - I'm a complete POAS addict too! I've probably spent about £60 in boots over the past couple weeks!

Next month I swear I'm going to be more sensible! I got some internet cheapy ov and preg tests but I'm using the CB digital ones at the mo as I just trust them a bit more to be accurate!

I can pretty much guarantee that from about 7dpo I'll be POAS every morning!!

Yaaaayyy great luxy, i wont be far behind you with the testing then! i will be starting at around 7dpo....i havent ordered mine yet, am gona try n wait til im 4/5dpo then order them otherwise i waste them just for the fun of poas!! ha ha ha! i cant believe i was even checking for a 2nd line at 2dpo! craaazzzy lady!!!

Ooo exciting - you enjoy that time away I fell preg first whilst we were away over Christmas so I hope its the same for you guys.

I'd like to think I caught an eggy - we certainly bd'd at the right time, but with my temps being all over the place (which they didn't used to be at all - they were like clockwork pre m/c) I don't think things are working right at the moment so am not expecting anything other than af again and another go next cycle!

I can off the pill at the end of January and had a 31 day cycle, now on cd 22 so just waiting until I can test!!

I think I'm 2-3 DPO, BD'd a couple of times before so we're in with a chance, I'd love to fall pregnant the first month especially after hearing that you can be super fertile when you first come off BCP, but I'm also not expecting much as I have just come off the pill and my body will be sorting itself, also we'd prefer to not have a Christmas baby, not that we'd complain if we did though!

I'll be testing next Friday when I'll be 9-10 DPO. I've got the cheap tests from ebay to try to avoid spending a fortune on tests
