TTC #1... CD 42 and still counting!

Hi everyone! I am TTC #1 and now on CD 42 after my withdrawal bleed from the pill. I'm just stuck in limbo here wondering when I will ovulate. I have been tracking my temps and CM and so far have not ovulated yet. Just wanting some support and wondering if anyone is in the same boat? It's just ironic to me how I spent 10 years on the pill not wanting to get pregnant and when I'm finally ready it's not happening right away! I know that it can take a while for my hormones to even out, but It would be great to hear from someone in the same situation since it seems that everyone around me is getting pregnant right away- or even while in birth control.

Hope your cycle moves along quickly! Can't say I'm in the sane position, I fortunately got right on track with cycles after stopping the pill, but discovered other issues down the road.

I've heard many stories here of ladies in your position with long cycles or anovulatory cycles. Just hang in there and try not to stress as that can have a big impact. If it continues, see your doctor who can prescribe something to assist.

Mine was similar to Mkayes. Initially my cycles were fine off the BCP but then they got even more irregular over the past months. There is a post on this page I think it's about 'stopping BCP who's with me?' I think I recall some of those women having similar trouble.

Irregular, long cycles are not normal so see your doctor if it doesn't improve.

Thanks for the advice ladies! I will try to wait it out for now and make an appointment in a few weeks if nothing changes.
