TTC#1 for 1year. First month on Agnus Castus AF late 17dpo

Surprise surprise, AF came! :-(
On a plus note the Agnus Castus has made my last 2 cycles 32 days long, the first month I ovulated on day 14, and this month I ovulated day 21. So still none the wiser of being able to pinpoint OV! But at least I can expect AF on day 32 now rather than days ranging from 25-32!
Let's see what this month brings....

Dang, so sorry she got you girly:hugs: . She got me too but I was absolutely expecting her so I didn't cry a river of tears and throw a super-mega fit :haha: . Onward then!! Come on February BFP's! :D

And kindly get that chart in your siggy already, I've got stalkin' to do lady :haha: .

Awww boo, yep onwards and upwards with the next cycle!!
How cool would it be if we both had Feb BFP's!! :baby::baby:

I've got some Christmas podge to lose anyway so I have started joining in with cardio & weights with the hubby! :winkwink:

I'm curious to know if there are any other tests a female can have apart from 21 day Ovulation tests, as I find it amazing that his 32 million sperm don't reach my egg, I'm convinced my tubes are blocked lol

OK lady here it is

My Ovulation Chart

Oh dear what a horrible day! I woke up with a very sore head, felt like id mixed red wine/white wine and beer last night and I didn't even drink a drop! My bones felt really weak and I feel nauseous! Wonder what it is wether it's the new bit of exercise I've introduced to my life or wether I caught a bug off the kids at preschool?! Poor hubby tho I've been well possessed today I wonder what it is?!?! Any clues? X

Sounds awful! :hugs: I'm sorry you're feeling crappy. I wonder if you've been bitten by the flu?

Think it was just a bug, as I had no sneeze or cough to accompany it, it did feel abit fluey tho! Feeling much better. Passed it onto the hubby now hehe! Your chart is looking good for this month
And we are both on CD22, what's the chances of that?!

Hmmm 18dpo thought I'd randomly do a test this morning, at 9am, is this a faint positive or an evaporation line? I did another at 11am, which is the test underneath,
Could this be what we have been waiting for ? Our first baby? :baby:

Me too! I got a BFP yesterday myself!! <3  <3

Omg?! Really?! Congratulations to you!! We did get our Feb BFPs like we were saying, ha! :baby: What a great Valentines gift from the hubby's that was! :baby:
I decided to go get a digital earlier, here's the pic, I ovulated on day 12 so am 2-3 weeks already, just hope I've not disturbed it with the few drinks I had at the weekend... I think I'll stop taking Agnus Castus now and just carry on with Pregnacare if your body has high progesterone when your pregnant I don't know if I should risk taking the herbs x

I tested b/c AF stayed away lol. I hate POAS and tend to wait 'til she doesn't show :) .

I was going to wait I'm 3 days early for mine but I dreamt that I got a bfp so when I woke up I went and did it!

Will you be continuing agnus Castus?

I just wanna shout it from the rooftops! But must try & wait until after the first scan... :coffee:
Here's to a happy, healthy pregnancy to us both, and thanks for all your help you've been amazing :hugs:

Yes, I am continuing with the agnus castus as well as everything else I've been doing including running, yoga, apple cider vinegar shots, everything. Just gonna keep it rollin'! :)

CONGRATS CONGRATS CONGRATS! Those are fab bfp's and not squinters! I am so happy for you both and even tho it's been a while since I dropped in on this thread and sang the praises of Vitex (see page 3 lol) I have been stalking this thread and both your charts. Over the moon for you both and will reference you both in my vitex praises if you don't mind :winkwink:

Thanks so much pandi!! Reference away for me; I do so with you all the time :haha: .

Major congrats ladies!!!! What fantastic news! DD was a vitex baby! And I continued it til 16 weeks. I started again last cycle but it made me super depressed for some reason. If no bfp after another couple months I will put up with the depression and get back on it! You guys have given me motivation! H&H 9 months to both of you!!! :happydance:

Thanks so much Pandi! :winkwink: I still can't believe it I am so shocked!
Stranjegirl did u take the holland and Barrett 1600mg a day up until 16 weeks? .. I'm confused as to what to do now, really want it to stick, don't want to jeopardise my 'ill seed, what are the benefits of carrying on with the agnus castus?
Thanks in advance :hugs:

I was taking the nature's way brand. I actually stopped right when I got my bfp at 12 dpo, but I started spotting at 5 weeks so I started again. I had been taking 400mg 3X a day before getting pregnant and then when I started spotting I started taking it again but cut down to 400mg twice a day. At 14-15 weeks I cut down to 1 time per day and then at about 16 weeks I stopped. I also started over the counter progesterone cream (elmerita progest) when I started spotting and stopped that at 16 weeks also. I had a ton of unexplained spotting and bleeding during pregnancy and I was afraid I was miscarrying so I worried it might be my progesterone and took those things. After delivery my random bleeding continued and we finally found it was a cervical ectropian- so it's very possible that i didn't need to continue the vitex or start the cream. Part of why I didn't start vitex right off the bat this time ttc was because I didn't want to make that decision again. I also had been on it for 6 months the first time so I was a bit nervous stopping it cold like that. I will say I couldn't find any true reason to stop it and I had no issues taking it. If you are worried maybe ask your dr if you can get a progesterone test to see if your levels are ok? If they are high I would guess the vitex is not needed, but someone else might know more about this. :flower:
