Hi! I am looking for a TTC buddy.. someone who's been trying for already sometime...

I had my first Lap at the age of 10 because of cyst.I got pregnant a year after I was married in 2000. They were surprised that I hadn't had any miscarriages. He was a complete miracle. I have an incompetent cervix so I was in the hospital 3 months before he was born. He was born at 29 weeks. He is now 12. We started trying a year after he was born, with no luck. I had a Lap done in 2005 and was diagnosed with Endo. It was back full force 7 months later. Throughout all these years I have been to every gyn around me for help... They were all a waist of time. I finally found a great gyn that referred me to a Endo specialist and I had my excision surgery 3 weeks ago. He said that I have a 5% chance of the Endo returning because it was cut out. Everything else looked normal so I just have to deal with the PCOS. My doctors are very optomistic but I am scared that it might not happen.

wow!! That is quite a story. At least u do have a little miracle at home... So u know it is not completely impossible. Sometimes I am not sure if it will ever happen to me... I never got a positive. They think my tubes might be damaged, although it all looked normal during my lap and doctors don't seem to think endo is really playing a role in my infertility. Basically they have no idea why I do not get pregnant....
I am trying everything I can, but nothing has worked yet...

I'm sorry that you are having such a hard time. How long have you had endo? What all have you tried so far.... If I was to have another one, it would be like starting all over and I wouldn't want another child to have to go through what my son has...

you can check in my blog and there in about me is the whole story with details and everything I have been trying to this date...
I was diagnosed 1 year ago but I had the symptoms since the very first period I had. Also, the women in my family also suffer from the same symptoms, except infertility. It drives me crazy to know that I could have known about it a very looong time ago and no doctor ever suggested I could have endometriosis.

I kind of lost my faith in doctors lately... I've been trying on my on but my husband is really ready to IVF and I kind of agree with him. It's been long enough already.

I know what you mean about the doctors. I think endo women are treated horrible. I wish I could do IVF but my ins doesn't cover any of that. I wish you all the luck and I will say a prayer that it happens for you soon. :)

owww. thank you!! My insurance kind of covers it but I would have to do in the military hospital and I am really unhappy with the way they do things there...
So we r paying out of pocket to a different doctor... I really hope it happens too!! I will keep you in my thoughts as well!! :)
