TTC #1 took 3+ years...how long for #2?

It took us 3+ years to conceive dd, we are currently on cycle 5 TTC #2.

For those who took a while conceiving #1, was #2 same, longer or shorter?

It was about the same for me in terms of time... 3 yrs with DS and just under for DD (I'm currently 25 wks). But it was a much smoother ride. Three miscarriages first time around compared with just one this time, and we had luck with femara (letrozole) so didn't have to faff with IVF (which gave me nothing but miscarriages). I found it much easier to deal with, too... I had my little boy who was enough if we weren't successful, and I knew it COULD happen.

Thanks for this. We are in the unexplained category...they just didn’t know what was up!
I’m scared it’s not going to happen a second time!
