Hi! I am new to all this, so don't know all the abbreviations yet.

Me and my partner (we are a same-sex couple) have been actively trying for a baby for two months. It is known, but not yet confirmed, that I may have PCOS or some other fertility issue but we are still waiting for medical tests to confirm.

Anyway, our first month of trying was unsuccessful, we are now in our second month and hoping to see a BFP at the end of all this!

Just wondered what you ladies thought of this. So I haven't been tracking my BBT or CM, the first month it got to stressful so we decided to just try this month. We are using a known donor and he luckily agreed (his choice actually) to donate to us quite a few times throughout the month.

I have long cycles, my average length is 40 days. Not sure when I ovulated, however, my doctor believes I ovulated twice this month? (Didn't think this was possible?) the 8th/9th and then the 19th/20th. I've also been regularly taking Tesco Prenatal Multivitamins

CD1 – CD… : Period
CD 15 – Insemination- Possible OV day. Really sharp pains in my left ovary? side, couldn't get comfortable in bed. Feel really bloated.
CD 16 – Insemination: 3.5mls - Feeling achy and sickly in my stomach. Saw pink on tissue 3x when wiped, thought period coming.
CD 17 – No Insemination - Didn't sleep well. Feeling nauseous all day. Headache. Haven't had any more pink spotting? since CD16. No appetite. Temp late in evening. Feeling dizzy. Right ovary? sensitive to touch.
CD18 – No insemination: Nothing.
CD19 – Insemination: Nothing.
CD20 – Insemination: Still feeling naseous. Headache. Occasional twinges in ovaries.
CD21 – Insemination: Feeling utterly exhausted! Can't seem to stay awake. Lack of appetite. Really emotional - Cried watching a comedy. Spots have appeared. Headache. Peeing alot! Loose bowels for three days (tmi!)
CD22 – Insemination
CD 23 – No insemination
CD 24 – Insemination: Still feeling exhausted. Really emotional.
CD25 – No insemination: Exhausted. Emotional.
CD26 – Last inseminationossible Ovulation day. Last night in bed I had the most horrible sickly feeling in stomach - was conviced AF coming. Constantly peeing. Still exhausted. Bizzare dreams. Bouts of loose stools and sickness (tmi!)

Sorry for the long post ladies! Just wondered what you all thought? My period is expected on the 4th December.. So I suppose that would make me 5/6dpo.. unless I did ovulate at the beginning of the month which would put me at 16dpo.

Wish I had tracked properly now :/

I'd have said cd15 was o day from the ovary pain and I'd be tempted to test but if it's negative test again next week just in case. Have you thought about OPKs they are a bit less stressful than taking temps every day? And might help pinpoint if you are ovulating twice (I didn't know that was possible either)

Hi Spicy Orange Thank you for your response, that's what I was thinking. I don't have any tests at home, as I don't want to get obsessed.. but think I might test tomorrow, which would put me at 17dpo.

Had an ultrasound today to check for cysts on ovaries, nothing was mentioned about possibility of pregnancy, but I'm guessing it would be to early for that?

Did you OPK?

Id do a test in a few days time. Once you start testing you will become obsessed with POAS (peeing on a stick) though. I never knew it was possible to ovulate twice in one month although it may be because you have a long cycle? I hope you get your positive test soon

Wow, you got a lot of insemination days in, so that is great! The TCOYF book I was reading this morning said that you cannot ovulate twice in one cycle (unless it is within 24 hrs of the 1st ovulation which is what can make twins). Maybe what you're seeing as one long cycle is really two shorter ones? Either way good luck- seems like your odds are good with all that inseminating!!

I haven't tested yet, the OH refuses to let me until I am late for AF.. Which is due in three days time.

We are hoping to see our BFP this month and have everything crossed! Since my first post..

I am now on CD38 - I have been feeling really exhausted, so much so that I am unable to work as I just want to sleep all the time. Even when having a good amount of sleep I still feel exhausted. I also have quite a few spots, but not much else!

So AF was meant to come yesterday and didn't show up. Last night I had a horrendous nose bleed, and woke up feeling weird -- hard to explain that one.

I have just done a pregnancy test - A superdrug home brand and it came back a BFN..

I have no idea what's going on

Just have to wait for my period so that I can start again.

So I am now 2 days late for AF and there are no signs of it coming any time soon! I took another test and it again came out negative.. I don't understand what's going on. My bbs are hurting like mad!

I still have no idea what's going on My bbs are really sore and my OH commented that they looked bigger... and no signs of it coming soon! I'm now on CD45 and 4 days late

omg you have to test !! would your doctor not run a blood test after your a week late? i will keep my fingers crossed for you

I took a test 2 days ago and it came out spoke to my doctor and they've said to wait another week before they'll do a blood test I'm now on CD46 still no sign Just want the wait to be over either way.. so I can either worry about pregnancy or start trying again!!
