Hi

I'm looking for some advice really and other peoples experiences....

In November 2009 I had an ectopic pregnancy where my right tube ruptured and I had to have an emergency operation to have the ectopic and my tube removed.

Me and my OH are now ready to start trying for a baby, I am pettrified I either wont be able to have children aswell as only having one tube I also have PCOS and also scared I will have another ectopic taking my only remaining tube.

This will be our first baby I'm 25 next month my OH is 30 I'm so scared I cant give him a baby but I'm doing my very bezt to be positive.

Will be really greatful for any advice or experiences of your own xxxx

Hi, I hate to read and run. I really can't offer any advice. But good luck. I am in the same boat as you as far as the ectopic pregnancy. My ectopic was in 2005. Baby dust to you:dust:

Kali's first so sorry for your loss :hugs:

Second I have only one tube and one ovary since I was 19 about to turn 30 in June I had always though I would never be able to have babies bc of severe pcos married my hubs in 2010 thinking we would never b parents a yr and a half later I was put on metformin and other meds as am diabetic and have high blood pressure a month after starting metformin I starting bleeding and cramping horribly my dr on a whim did a test BFP sadly 2 days later they figured it was ectopic after two weeks of testing and u/s i had to have surgery to remove it and fix some scar tissue

Well a yr and a half later am pregnant again no bleeding or cramping its early still but I hope and pray this baby makes it I began my hcg testing and am waiting on results they said as long as no bleeding or cramping all is ok
So if I can get preggers with the same tube where I had my ectopic am sure you can with your good tube FX for you hun feel free to pm me if you need to

HappyLady so sorry for your loss :hugs:

Thankyou for your reply Lucy and really sorry for your loss also but a huge congratulations and good luck on your pregnancy I really hope it all goes well for you :)

Thankyou for replying I'm trying to think really positive and my partner he knows how I feel and I think he don't want to get to excited to start trying incase we can't and then I will feel iv let him down he hasnt said that but that's the feeling I get I feel I'm taking the excitement away from him but also I think deep down his scared of it happening again. If any of that makes sense there's alot of success stories out there so I'm just going to think positive :)

Good luck again really hope it all goes well xxxx

Thank you, I totally understand your fear it kinda of feels like we don't work properly but you hun I have read that the chances of an other ectopic are slim mine are a little higher bc it's the same tube
The good thing is you have a partner who is there with you you just got to talk bout your fears he'll understand and we are all here for you as we'll. Good Luck and much :dust: to you
