Hubby and I have been "not trying not preventing" for around 5 years. Out of those 5 years, we ttc'd for about 12 months, trying soy isoflavones (supposed to mimic clomid) for 5 or 6 cycles. I ovulated each time, but never became pregnant. :nope:

Right now we're back to "not trying, not preventing". The only thing I really keep track of is my cycle, which has been surprisingly regular lately, despite having pcos.

We are planning to start the Insanity workout dvd's on Monday...should we stop ttc and actually prevent, or do you think it's ok to keep NTNP?

I know of a marine who went through all 9 months full active duty not even aware of her pregnancy, and had a healthy baby. Exercise is compatible with pregnancy, as long as you take care of your body and proper nutrition. Later on in pregnancy, there are some exercises to avoid but for now there's nothing wrong with exercise. Just listen to your body and don't push too hard, get cleared by your doctor if you have any sort of health problems too.

I have to start by saying thanks, omgitsashley. I was just perusing, nervous to join and I saw your question and couldn't wait to respond to someone with similar interests! Anyways...I have always been active and just started the Insanity DVDs 2 weeks ago with my hubby. We have been TTC for about 15 months (now have hope after prolactin treatment started!) and I am excited about the workouts! Obviously I will slow down a little bit if pregnant, but I feel like the more in shape I am, the better! The workouts are really intense, which I love, but keep us posted on how it goes :)
