TTC and nursing?

So I got my period back when lo was 6 months old. He is almost 13 months and obviously I am not pregnant yet, after not using any contraception. granted some months we def did not get to bd much and probably not around ovulation either, but I dunno..

Is the nursing probably affecting me getting pregnant? I still nurse 3 times a day.

i have been wondering this too hon. i stopped taking the mini pill over a month ago and no period yet tho i have had lots of strong cramping.

im bfeeding Fred 2-4 times a day.

was speaking to a friend who has 3 kids and she said she got her period back a few weeks after she finished bfeeding with all 3 of them, think its different for everyone as some women do catch while bfeeding! xxx

Well as you have seen I am pregnant as of today....

I nurse morning and night but rarely during the day - so 2 or 3 times max.

We were actively TTC so we have been BDing everyday from CD8 - CD17. I think if you are BFing and really want to conceive then you probably need to be more focused with when you do it. But as you can see it can definitely happen!

I believe that if you are still BFing then it will be more difficult to conceive. I know after my first baby that I didn't get my period back reguarly until after I stopped breastfreeding! xx
