TTC for 9 months just found out I have low progesterone levels

Hi there,

Is there anyone going through the same thing, getting closer to TTC for a year and have had my first blood test results back: Low progesterone and to make it worse a positive for chlamydia anti bodies which could mean scarred or blocked tubes. I now have to go back for another progesterone blood test on CD 21 and my DH has to have his count down before we can be referred to a fertility clinic.

I'm 31 and never thought it would be so hard TC, especially as all my friends don't seem to have a problem at all!

Hi I also have low progesterone levels and pcos have been TTC since Feb 2012 and just got dx pcos in august I'm currently taking provera to jump start my period so I can start my first round of Clomid...I'm exited about that!!! But yeah it kinda sux that u gotta take progesterone to start ur period every time cuz it makes the process even longer but I really hope and have faith that this Clomid is gonna be my miracle med...lots of baby dust to u!!!

Can they tell if u have scarred endometrium or tubes just by doing blood test??

I am ttc from last 10 cycle and last cycle when i did CD21 blood work i came to know that i have very low progesterone.I would be taking Clomid from next cycle.

Hello I have just had the same results. .Low progesterone and chlamydia anti bodies. What were your results? Did you have damaged or blocked tubes?

First off I have a few questions but if you feel if I am too nosy or asking too personal of questions please tell me. I am just curious and I wanna hear from the real world and not just what I google that could be misleading or out of date info, What does your chart look like with low progesterone? I have heard that if the BBT is constantly near or below the coverline it can mean low progesterone. Also I have read if it a sawtooth pattern it can mean low progesterone. I am just curious because I am scared I have low progesterone. I am trying to find out all I can about it. I have read too some symptoms of low progesterone. What(if any) symptoms did you have? If I am asking too many questions and you feel that I may be to into your business please let me know. I am just very curious and I am trying to find buddies.
